Synopsis
Ek Vivaah... Aisa Bhi is the story of Chandni (Isha Koppikar) who belongs to a middle-class family living in Bhopal and Prem (Sonu Sood) who is an unconventional ghazal singer and hails from an upper-middle-class family. Chandni and Prem meet to practice for a Ghazal competition and fall in love. On the day of their wedding Chandni's dad dies leaving her younger brother and younger sister dependent on Chandni herself. Initially Chandni decides to leave the house and her siblings under the care of her uncle- however when she realizes that her unscrupulous uncle and aunt want only the house and care two hoots about her siblings, she decides to bring them up herself. Prem promises to wait for her and keeps assisting her in all her troubles- while at the same time having become a prominent & famous ghazal singer.Actors

Dimpy Singh (Madalsa Sharma), approaches Samrat Tilakdhari (Rajeev Khandelwal), a private investigator, with a strange case. Esha Malhotra (Esha Deol) is a bright, spirited girl who has just left college. She finds a note from a past student of her school that coincides with her own feelings of love. She calls into a radio station and requests a song, repeating the words left on the note. An anonymous man calls in soon after, stating that he is the one who had written the letter and he would like to meet her someday since they seem to have the same feelings about love and other aspects in life. The radio announcer sets up a date and time for their meeting at the radio station. The man arrives but finds only a letter waiting for him. The letter does not state her name or address, only a post box number to which she requests him to write to so that they can be friends. The correspondence begins. The man turns out to be photographer Rahul Sharma (Hrithik Roshan). They do not meet, exchange numbers or tell their names but continue to write each other. Fate brings the two together when Esha hires Rahul to be their photographer for a campaign, of course she didn't know it was him nor he did that it was her.

This is a story about an architect Raj Malhotra (Shahid Kapoor). While he was a top student in his school and college days, he is not having much luck in finding work, clients or projects. All he does, seems to go wrong. Raj goes to a gypsy named Haseena Bano Jaan (Juhi Chawla). She advises him that his luck is not good and he needs a lucky charm or a person who can change his life. Afterwards, Raj meets Priya (Vidya Balan), who is ready to help the citizens of a community by trying to save a community center. Although they do not get along at first, Raj eventually realizes that Priya is his lucky charm. Priya ends up helping Raj through sticky situations and Raj eventually figures out that she is, in fact, changing his life. Knowing this, Raj lies to Priya by telling her that he will help her save the community center, but instead, he is trying to build a shopping mall there so he can finally be recognized as an architect. He also falls in love with Priya and she too falls for him. However, when Priya finds out the truth about what Raj is trying to do, she becomes very upset and hurt. To make up for his lie, Raj sells everything he has, not caring about his job. He proposes a plan to save the community center and ends up winning Priya's love and admiration. After Priya and Raj finally get together, Raj's life changes and he becomes prosperous.

Sunil (Apoorva Agnihotri) and Ashok are two close friends. They are of marriageable age. One day Ashok's mom tells him to introduce himself to Shalu. But Ashok is reluctant to do so. Anand is involved in criminal activities, he wants to give up those, but his partners will not allow him to do so. Nisha works for Anand and he is in love with her and would like to marry her, but when he finds out that his brother loves her he steps down. Sunil and Nisha get married and have a kid but then Sunil is killed by Anands business partners who believe it to be Anand. Nisha's parents want her to get married again so Anand marries her as he still loves her. Anand then finds out that Sunil is alive and brings him back home even though Sunil had left because he knew that Anand loved Nisha. Anand is killed by the bad guys and Sunil and Nisha live happily ever after.
