Synopsis
The story starts with Karunakaran (Vijay) leaving his village to go to Mumbai looking for a job to help his sister's wedding. He lives with his sister and there he meets Nisha (Isha Koppikar), who loves him at first sight. He first rejects her but later he starts to love her too. He's unable to get a job, and through a friend, joins as a hit man for a gangster. This brings him a lot of money, in this way he can help his family. But when his own gang plan to kill Nisha after killing her parents, he tries to protect her, earning their wrath. Whether he can save Nisha or not forms the crux of the storyActors

The film deals with student strength. Sivaraj (Vijay), a college student is leading a happy go lucky life, having a nice time with his friends, until two of his friends fall in love. Facing stiff opposition from the girl’s father, all the friends get together and get the couple married. But the married girl was gang raped in the college campus, by Madhan, the son of a politician. Unable to get justice in court, Siva along with his friends takes it upon himself to avenge his friend’s death, but pays a very heavy price. His mother will be killed by the politician and they lose at court. Now Shiva must get justice in his own way. He can kill Madhan and his father.

Vijay (Vijay) is a rich young business man, whose only one aim in life is to have fun, is the managing director of a big tea estate in Ooty and his company goes on a big loss because of his mismanagement. Vijay spends most of his time in partying and flirting with girls whenever he feels like. To manage the loss to his company, Vijay invites his father Rajasekar (who is in the United States) to come to India to sign some documents. As fate would have it, Vijay's father dies in a plane crash on his way to India. The story- A local thug and criminal who kills people like mosquitoes Masanam (Prakash Raj) slowly rises up the ranks to be a Minister. We have Shakthivel (Nithin Sathya) a die-hard fan of actor Vijay who studies in a city college. The film is a story of romance that centers around two lovers: Devaa (Vijay) and Bharadhi (Swathi). The two are deep in love but encounter opposition from Bharadhi's father (Sivakumar), the head of the village. Vishnu (Vijay)'s father wants to bring up his son as a timid person but the guy desires to explore the world and hates his Dad's overprotection.
