Nenjinile is a 1999 நெஞ்சினிலே Tamil action film directed and co-written by S. A. Chandrasekhar. The film features Vijay and Isha Koppikar in the lead roles, while Sonu Sood, Sriman and Manivannan play supporting roles. The film's music is composed by Deva, and the film opened in June 1999 to a mixed response at the box office. This movie was dubbed in Hindi as Dharma The Warrior.

Synopsis

The story starts with Karunakaran (Vijay) leaving his village to go to Mumbai looking for a job to help his sister's wedding. He lives with his sister and there he meets Nisha (Isha Koppikar), who loves him at first sight. He first rejects her but later he starts to love her too. He's unable to get a job, and through a friend, joins as a hit man for a gangster. This brings him a lot of money, in this way he can help his family. But when his own gang plan to kill Nisha after killing her parents, he tries to protect her, earning their wrath. Whether he can save Nisha or not forms the crux of the story

The film deals with student strength. Sivaraj (Vijay), a college student is leading a happy go lucky life, having a nice time with his friends, until two of his friends fall in love. Vijay (Vijay) is a rich young business man, whose only one aim in life is to have fun, is the managing director of a big tea estate in Ooty and his company goes on a big loss because of his mismanagement. Vijay spends most of his time in partying and flirting with girls whenever he feels like. To manage the loss to his company, Vijay invites his father Rajasekar (who is in the United States) to come to India to sign some documents. As fate would have it, Vijay's father dies in a plane crash on his way to India. His maternal uncle (Manivannan) comes up with the idea of having another elderly person to act as Vijay's father for a while until the documents are signed. So they visit a senior home, where they meet Selvam (Sivaji Ganesan) and they request him to act as Vijay's father. He agrees to it and starts to act as Vijay's father.

The film is a story of romance that centers around two lovers: Devaa (Vijay) and Bharadhi (Swathi).
