Synopsis
Dans une ville frontière d'un pays indéterminé mais en guerre, Irini ( Lily Papagianni), la femme du lieutenant Kostas (Angelos Antonopoulos) a une liaison avec un caporal ami de son mari, Stratos (Kostas Karagiorgis). Un jour, Kostas est gravement blessé. Stratos ment à Irini en lui apprenant la mort de son mari et en lui offrant de fuir avec lui. Bien qu'elle connaisse la vérité, Irini accepte de suivre son amant qui déserte. Poursuivis par un contingent de l'armée, ils tentent de passer la frontière. Ils sont rattrapés, encerclés et tués.Comments

Adaa (Minissha Lamba) is a Kashmiri woman torn between her army officer love Aman (Jimmy Shergill) and her jehadi insurgent brother Shakeel (Yashpal Sharma). Trouble ensues when Aman's superiors come to know of his involvement with the sister of a terrorist and implicate him as an accomplice. The film opens in the year 1759 with the arrival of Langdon Towne (Robert Young) in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The son of a cordage (rope)- maker and ship rigger, he returns from Harvard University after being expelled for complaining about college food and drawing an unflattering picture of the President of Harvard College. Though disappointed, Langdon's family greets him with love, as does Elizabeth Browne (Ruth Hussey), the daughter of a noted clergyman. Elizabeth's father (Louis Hector) is less welcoming, however, and denigrates Langdon's aspirations to becoming a painter. That evening, while drinking in the local tavern with friend Sam Livermore (Lester Matthews), Langdon makes indiscreet remarks disparaging Wiseman Clagett (Montagu Love), the king's attorney, and the Indian agent, Sir William Johnson, unaware that Clagett is sitting in the next room with another official. Facing arrest for his comments, Langdon fights the two men with the help of "Hunk" Marriner (Walter Brennan), a local woodsman and friend, before they both escape into the woods.

In 1942, a young Scot, Charlotte Gray, travels to London to take a job in a surgery. On the train, a man enters her compartment and chats with her, asking questions about her life and expressing interest that she is fluent in French. He gives her his card with the date, time and address of a book launch. Social life in London is in full swing and her friends convince her to go.
