Synopsis
During the demonstration of a device which allows the observation of alternate dimensions, an accident causes the building in which the demonstration is taking place - and its occupants - to be transported to a dimension seemingly devoid of animal life but for large, vicious carnivores which hunt and kill the displaced humans one by one. A creature with six eyes attacks the people. The senator is attacked and ripped in half, and Lex has a heart attack. While researching an alien creature, Josh Burke accidentally sprays Al with an acidic toxin, and the first creature kills the private. While out getting water, two groups of three include Sam, Josh, and Dr. Karen Frost in one group, and Rivers, Dr. Jillian O'Hara and Murphy in the other, try to get out. Josh steals an egg, drops it on the rock, and is instantly sliced in half by "Momma." Rivers blows himself up to save Sam, and Brian Murphy is attacked and killed by "Momma". Only Colonel Synn, Dr. Frost, and Dr. O'Hara are left. Dr. Frost goes off by herself in an attempt to find intelligent life because of a structure she saw in the distance, only to discover too late that it was part of a building that got beamed with them and she is attacked and eaten by "Momma" off-screen. At the same time Colonel Synn and Dr. O'Hara manage to repair the device and return home, but discover that upon their return, off-screen damage from the machine has apparently caused chaos in their world, presumably bringing through one of the monsters.Actors

A baby anaconda, which was captured at the end of the previous film, is being used for experiments by a man named Peter Reysner from the previous film. Peter creates a hybrid of the blood orchids from Borneo that enabled the anaconda to grow so large and live so long, and creates a serum for cell regeneration. After the test seemingly work for the baby anaconda to regenerate, Peter burns it. When he disappears, the long anaconda escapes from the cage and kills Peter in a mine filled with blood orchids. J.D. Murdoch, a billionaire suffering from bone cancer, sends his assassin Eugene and his team of henchmen mercenaries to find Peter and the serum of Peter created it that can cure him. He also tells them to be careful of Dr. Amanda Hayes, and to kill her if needed. As Dr. Amanda Hayes, the sole survivor of the previous snake attack, and two officers also go in search of Peter, determined to destroy the serum and kill the snake.

Medical examiner Sam Rivers and biologist Mary Callahan travel into the bayou to investigate the mysterious death of a fisherman. A megalodon (prehistoric shark) is accidentally awakened by an oil company's explorations, trapping a group of art thieves and a group of young female college students on an abandoned island in the middle of a lake. The two groups band together to fight off the monster's attacks and fall victim to the shark one by one until only two of the girls are left, who manage to defeat the shark. Off the coast of Alaska, oceanographer Emma MacNeil (Deborah Gibson) is studying the migration patterns of whales aboard an experimental submarine she took without permission from her employer. Meanwhile, a military helicopter drops experimental sonar transmitters into the water, causing a pod of whales to go out of control and start ramming a nearby glacier. In the chaos, the helicopter crashes into the glacier, and the combined damage breaks the glacier open, thawing two hibernating, prehistoric creatures. MacNeil narrowly avoids destruction as, unknown to her, a giant shark and octopus are freed. Some time later, a drilling platform off the coast of Japan is attacked by the octopus, which has tentacles large enough to wrap around the entire structure. After returning to Point Dume, California, MacNeil investigates the corpse of a beached whale covered with many bloody wounds. Her employer Dick Richie (Mark Hengst) believes them to be from a tanker propeller, but MacNeil insists they appear to be from a creature. Later, she extracts what appears to be a shark’s tooth from one of the wounds. Elsewhere, the huge shark leaps tens of thousands of feet into the air from the ocean and attacks a commercial aircraft, forcing it to crash into the water.

A team of researchers funded by a Manhattan pharmaceutical firm – Jack Byron, Gordon Mitchell, Sam Rogers, Gail Stern, Cole Burris, and Ben Douglas – leave for a jungle in Borneo to search for a "blood orchid", a flower they believe can be used as a type of fountain of youth. Though their guide Bill Johnson has misgivings about which path to take, Jack bribes him to take an unsafe path. The team goes over a waterfall and has to wade through the river. A giant anaconda emerges from the water and swallows Ben whole, but the rest of the team escapes the river. Bill assures them that it was the largest snake he has ever seen and that it should take weeks for it to grow hungry again; however, most of the team demands that the expedition be called off. They travel to Bill's friend, John Livingston, who lives on the river to see if Johnson can borrow his boat; however, they find Livingston dead and his boat crashed.
