Hitler is a 1997 Tollywood film. This film stars Chiranjeevi, Rajendra Prasad, Rambha, Prakash Raj, & Dasari Narayana Rao. Character actor Gangadhar Panday made his debut with this movie. This film was directed by Muthyala Subbaiah. The film was released on 4 January 1997. The movie is said to be the comeback film of Chiranjeevi after a series of Box office flops.
It is a remake of the Malayalam film Hitler starring Mammootty, directed by Siddique.
Synopsis
Madhav Rao's (Chiranjeevi) mother dies when he is very small leaving five sisters with him. His father (Dasari Narayana Rao) is arrested for killing his mother by beating her in a rage. Madhav hates his father but loves his sisters with fierce protectiveness. He takes care of them and nurtures them very well. They all grow up. Madhav is always worried about his sisters and tries to keep them secure. He assaults local youths who try to chat up his sisters, or even look at them. As a result they label him "Hitler". Life nevertheless runs fairly smoothly, though all the villagers are careful how they behave around him.Actors

Nazar and Saratbabu are two rich and powerful rivals in a village. Nazar’s daughter Supriya and Saratbabu’s son Kalyan study in same college, where they both engage in few fights and bets. Shankar is an orphan raised by a sincere police officer Raja Rao. In an unexpected situation, Raja Rao's son Bharath kills a kid and Shankar takes the blame on him and is imprisoned while Raja Rao warns him not to meet him again. Years later Shankar is a CI who is referred as 'Encounter' Shankar because of his track record as an encounter specialist. He is posted to Bukkapatnam town in Tadipatri, Ananthapuram and is assigned the task of ending the illegal businesses of a dreaded local don Damodar whose dream project is to build a power plant. Using his clever mind, Shankar destroys all the three main businesses of Damodar by trapping the respective in-charges of those businesses. He brings a stay on the power project by bringing few vital witnesses. On a parallel note, Shankar loves a sweet shop owner named Saroja who reciprocates his love at a later point of time.
