Synopsis
Mad Wai (Bryan Leung) is a former triad member who has retired from the underworld to raise his daughter after his wife died. When rival triad Jiaxi Lan (Wong Chun), who led a gang in Chinatown, Manhattan, decides to take over territories in East Tsim Sha Tsui belonging to Wai's former boss Han (Shih Kien), Lan manipulates Han's cowardly underling Rotten Chi (Shum Wai) to betray and kill his boss. Upon hearing the death, Wai vows to seek vengeance for Han. At this time, Lan also kidnaps Wai's daughter. Wai, alongside his old friends Playboy Lung (Norman Chu) and Sergeant Lam (Richard Cheung), engage in a bloody battle against Lan to avenge their former boss and save Wai's beloved daughter.Actors

Restaurant waiter Sing (Stephen Chow) has always been obsessed with manhuas featuring triads and hoping to be part of them. One time, Sing rescues triad leader Wai Kit (Peter Yang), whom takes Sing under his wing. Sing also becomes good friends with Wai's underlings Chun (Wilson Lam) and Bill (Shing Fui-On). Later, Wai intends to retire and chooses his successor from the aforementioned trio. Then, the trio were sent to the Golden Triangle for trading activities, although faced obstacles, but successfully completed the mission. However, after returning to Hong Kong, due to conflicts in the gang, Bill is killed, Sing becomes an outcast and Chun also dies while rescuing Sing. The melancholic Sing then leave the underworld.

Hong Kong's gambling champion Cool (Louis Koo) was once boundlessly glorious, specializing in a card-flying stunt that reputed the gambling world. In Asia, only Japan's Tetsuo (Yasuaki Kurata) is considered a worthy opponent to Cool. Cool is bent on defeating Tetsuo to become Asia's number one. To gain this title, Cool works hard to improve his gambling skills, but was framed by his god-brother Yeung Kwong (Ben Lam), who tricks Cool's girlfriend, Karen (Athena Chu), and marries her.
