Synopsis
Pinky (Kajol) and Bunty (Atul Agnihotri) are in love with each other, and plan to marry. However, their respective families strongly oppose to this marriage, as their life-partners have already been picked for them. Pinky's dad, (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) has plans her to get married to Arjun (Jackie Shroff); while Bunty's parents, have picked Shobha (Ayesha Jhulka) as his bride. Bunty and Pinky decide to accept their parents' choices, and then eventually divorce their respective partners. Both of them get married by their parents' will. Afterwards, both Pinky and Bunty try to make their best to ruin their own family life.Actors

Born and brought up in a small village by foster parents, Vikram alias Vicky (Saif Ali Khan) comes to Bombay - the big city - to find his fortune. He wants to get rich soon, and he does get lucky when fate, and his confidence, courage and good looks land him a job with a politician cum criminal named Masterji (Dalip Tahil). He also meets a bar dancer named Anita Vaishnavi Mahant and love blossoms. Masterji starts him off with petty crimes, just to ensure his capabilities. Through his hard work and dedication, Vicky soon wins the respect of Masterji and his colleagues, especially one trusted man of Masterji named Vinayak More (Viju Khote). He soon becomes "Bambai ka babu" Then Vicky is entrusted with a task of subduing Masterji's rival, Jaya Shetty (Vishwajeet Pradhan), which he does easily. Then instead of being disposed off, Jaya is asked to make friends with Masterji, so as to benefit the latter. But soon Vicky comes to know of Masterji's plan with Jaya to incite communal violence as a means of indirectly winning the elections, he decides to sabotage their plans. Angered at this, Masterji orders the death of Vicky at any cost. Vicky has nowhere to turn to, except to live in fear for the rest of his life, as sooner or later Jaya and Masterji's men will track him down.

The story revolves around two brothers, Kishen (Jackie Shroff) and Karan (Anil Kapoor), who have spent their childhood growing up alone on the streets of Mumbai. The movie starts with Ajay (Ajay Devgan) telling his son that he should make his move on a girl he likes. The son tells him that if he can go woo another older lady, he will tell the girl he likes about his feelings. Ajay goes to the woman and starts telling her a story. Gradually, everyone around them starts listening and the scene goes to a flashback 25 years before. A younger Ajay is on a cruise with four of his friends. Nikhil (Sumeet Raghavan) and Reena (Divya Dutta), an unhappily married couple whilst Jeetu (Karan Khanna) and Natasha (Isha Sharvani) are a happily unmarried couple. On the cruise, Ajay meets Piya (Kajol) at the ship's bar and falls in love with her.

Twenty years ago Angar Chand (Amrish Puri) lived a wealthy lifestyle in a small town in India along with his wife, Parvati, and four sons, Balram (Jackie Shroff), Kishan (Paresh Rawal), Shakti (Arbaaz Khan) and Jai (Akshaye Khanna). Since Balram is of marriageable age, he arranges his marriage with the daughter of Laxmi Devi (Laxmi), who opposes this marriage. During the wedding ceremony, Laxmi Devi and her sons, Surajbhan, and Pratap forcibly take away their sister and accidentally kill Parvati. They subsequently get their sister married to Kashinath (Shakti Kapoor). An enraged Angar hacks Laxmi's husband to death, is arrested and sentenced to 14 years in prison. When he returns he makes it clear that women will not be permitted in his house, posting a sign on the front gate, and forbids his sons to ever marry.

This film revolves around a killer who suffers from a mental disorder which causes him to kill those who he is attracted to. Karishma Kapoor plays a girl from Delhi named Neha Chopra, who gets a new job as an interior designer at Nainital, and moves to lonely neighbourhood to pursue her career. She later falls in love with a man named Raj, who is played by Dino Morea. However, the cops inform her that he may be the killer of many young beautiful girls in the area, and she doubts the cops until something causes her to doubt him instead, so she decides to leave the city. The police officer Sunil Shetty asks her to see the condition of a sister of the killer who witnessed the murder, but is in coma. Seeing her terrible condition, Neha decides to stay and help with the case and acts as if she is in love with Raj. Raj who has lost the love from Neha has to now gain her trust back and save her from the dangers that await her.

The story starts with an American visiting the Kalindi Temple at night. There he sees the priest of the temple in a horrific state – he had slit his body with a scythe and had written 'Om' on his body. The man, horrified by what he is seeing, flees from there. The story then shifts to a model in her early 20s, Nandita (Kangna Ranaut) who is in love with Yash, (Adhyayan Suman) a director and host of the reality show "Andhvishwas" a show dealing with various superstitions of ghosts and tantric voodoos.
