Operation: Jet Fusion (also known as Operation: Rescue Jet Fusion) is a 2003 telefilm of The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius television series. It was followed by a sequel titled My Big Fat Spy Wedding in 2005.

Synopsis

Jimmy, Carl, and Sheen went to a movie theater to watch a Jet Fusion movie. After the movie, they get more tickets to the movie. In school, Jimmy is called to go to the principal's office, only to find himself being taken to an organization called Big Top Secret Organization (BTSO for short). Commander Baker, the leader of the organization told Jimmy that their No. 1 agent Agent X is missing. His tracking device was buried somewhere in Pacific Ocean. The professor shows Jimmy his gadgets, but Jimmy prefers to use his own inventions.

The film starts off with a rocket carrying two boys and a robotic dog: Jimmy Neutron (Debi Derryberry), Carl Wheezer (Rob Paulsen) and Goddard (Frank Welker). Jimmy is attempting to launch a communications satellite made out of a toaster, hoping to communicate with an alien species he believes exists somewhere out in the universe. Unknown to anyone, the satellite is picked up near the planet Yolkus, home to an alien race called the Yolkians. King Goobot V (Patrick Stewart) and his assistant, Ooblar (Martin Short), watch a pre-recorded message from Jimmy, featuring him introducing himself and explaining about life on Earth.

Set in suburban Las Vegas, Nevada, 10-year-old Lucas Nickle (Zach Tyler Eisen) is being tormented by a bully and his gang. In turn, he attacks an anthill with a squirt gun which terrifies the ants. After Ben Ravencroft, a famous horror writer of whom Velma is a big fan, assists her and the Mystery, Inc. gang in solving a case at a museum, he invites them to his hometown, Oakhaven, Massachusetts. When they arrive, they find the town converted into a tourist attraction by Mayor Corey, complete with 17th-century replicas and attractions based on the alleged ghost of Sarah Ravencroft, an ancestor of Ben's who was persecuted as a witch and executed by the Puritan townspeople in 1657. Crysta is a fairy with a curious nature living in FernGully, a pristine rainforest free from humans. Russia is being terrorized by an evil witch known as Baba Yaga (Andrea Martin), and the only one who is not afraid of her is Bartok the Magnificent (Hank Azaria). Bartok, an albino bat, has just arrived in Moscow and is impressing everyone with his performances, including Prince Ivan (Phillip Van Dyke). However, Ivan's advisor, Ludmilla (Catherine O'Hara), finds Bartok annoying and naive, and she tries to make a Cossack stop his performance. After Bartok's show, a bear suddenly attacks. Bartok saves everyone by stunning the bear, knocking it over, and trapping it in a wagon.

A country spider is the friend of a young girl named Leslie McGroarty (voiced by Thora Birch), who is taking piano lessons from a very strict instructor (voiced by Andrea Martin) (incidentally, she's learning to play the actual rhyme) and her cat, Langston. When the instructor is frightened by Itsy, she calls an Exterminator, that uses more and more extreme measures to try to kill Itsy, most of which end up causing pain and destruction to the instructor's home, Langston and the Exterminator himself, which turns out to be a heavily armed android (voiced by Jim Carrey). The Exterminator's methods begin to get even more extreme, escalating from poison and vacuums to guns and explosives, until the instructor's house is eventually blown up. At the end of the film, Itsy is finally reunited with Leslie (who had the sense to get out of the house before the flamethrowers came out), and they go home to the city.
