Synopsis
Damani (Prem Chopra) and Goverdhan (Kader Khan) are bitter enemies but when they get word from their boss Trikal Annaa (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) to stop the rivalry, they are forced to shake hands. They soon decide to get their children married to each other. Goverdhan tells his son Vicky (Mohnish Behl) to go to Surat to meet Damani's daughter Priti (Preity Zinta).Actors

Shaadiram Gharjode (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) is once humiliated by Hoshiyar Chand (Kader Khan) when Shaadiram goes to inform him about a family wanting to marry their son to Hoshiyar's daughter. Hoshiyar Chand insults them as he wants both his daughters to marry into the richest family. Gharjode decides to teach Hoshiyar Chand a lesson: He meets a coolie called Raju (Govinda) and they go to Hoshiyar Chand's village pretending to be a rich family. Hoshiyar is impressed and he wants his daughter Malti (Karisma Kapoor) to marry Raju. This leads to humorous situations in the climax.

Basant (Govinda) is a guy who gets what he wants, sneakingly. He is friends with Vasant. At an antique shop, Basant and Vasant see an antique duck made of glass. Basant purposely drops to break it because he cannot afford it. One day, Basant sees Priya (Priyanka Chopra) and is head over heels in love with her. She proceeds to draw a smiley face on the glass frame. Basant tries to run after her but he spots her earring. Meanwhile Vasnat wants to enter a music competition but on the way their car hits a girl on a bike, which is Priya. She is in hospital and requires A1B blood. However Vasant is there (because the people who knocked her over took Vasant's car so he chased them) Vasant has the correct blood type and donates blood to save Priyas life. However this small event leads to the cancellation of the competition. Vasant is unaware the girl Basant boasts about is Priya the girl he knocked over. When Priya wants to contact Vasant to thank him for the blood donation, she unknowingly calls Basant but he doesn't know it is the girl he wants. The next day, Basant and Vasant along with Satya and Prakash await the call but a music group calls insisting that Vasant must present himself there. Just after Vasant leaves, Priya calls, but says that Vasant must meet her at the Railway Station to Jodhpur. She is wearing a blue cap, has a blue top and is carrying an English novel. A call follows, and there is a problem with the boys so Vasant has to leave. When Basant sees it is the girl he wants, he plays a pretext he is Vasant instead. Basant goes home and finds his friend smoking and thinking about his guru because he is in hospital. One day, Priya calls Basant's (Vasant's) house but his mother picks up the phone. Her stupid sister blatanly says an old woman and the mother thinks they are referring to her, Basant takes the phone and speaks expletives unaware it is Priya. Vasant (the real one) goes for a music job, he has a cassette and meets Uncle ~Shakti Kapoor). He calls Priya to help him out. The plot thickens, when, just before Vasant goes for the interview Basant tells him to change his name to Ranjini Priya for good luck and he meets Priya. Both are unaware that Priya sees the boy who saved her life and Vasant (Ranjini Priya) donates blood to a girl he didn't know because he never see her.

Hasmukh Rai (Kader Khan) has a problem. As a matter of fact, two problems — his two sons: Munnu (Chunky Pandey) and Bunnu (Govinda Ahuja). The duo are notorious slackers, always up to no good, and involved in elaborate practical jokes. It comes to Hasmukh's attention that his sons have been lying to him about their college grades — in studies and sports — and have not been attending school for the last three years. As a result, they are kicked out of college and, ultimately, their home. Later, one of their practical jokes gets out of hand, and Bunnu disappears, presumed dead. At the same time, Munnu gets involved with a conspiracy of killing Bunnu. Meanwhile, from a small Indian village, Bunnu's identical cousin, Gauri Shankar, arrives in town. He is mistaken for Bunnu which leads to a hilarious misunderstandings and constant uproar.

Akelinder or Bhangari Dada (Kader Khan) has a shop at Chor bazaar which he runs illegally, he lives with his wife and only daughter Kiran (Raveena Tandon). Bhangari wants his daughter to be married to a gangster, so he begins his search. Gopi (Govinda) is a simpleton from Banaras. He gets married to a foreign returned Madhu (Ramya) . He is the family and faithful type. She is a daredevil, happy-go-lucky type. She delivers a baby-boy. In the meanwhile, he becomes rich and famous. He now walks away with the 15-days-old kid and comes back to his village and threatens to marry again. The stage is set for his re-marriage. She appears on the scene. She wants the child back. Confrontation, She says she cannot live without the child. He says if she cannot live without her 15-days-old child then why did she want to separate his mother from her child. She realises her mistake.
