Malla (Kannada: ಮಲ್ಲ) is a 2004 Indian Kannada romance - action film written, directed, composed and enacted by V. Ravichandran in dual roles. The film also stars Priyanka Upendra and Mohan Shankar in the lead roles. The film was produced by Ramu for his home banner Ramu Enterprises making his the first team up with Ravichandran.

The film found a widespread release across Karnataka state on 27 February 2004 and was declared a blockbuster at the box-office. However it received mixed response by the critics who claimed that the film highlights the unwanted intimacy scenes between the lead pair. The film is also reportedly the first to introduce the famous Kerala based traditional art Kalarippayattu in Kannada cinema. The stunt master K. D. Venkatesh was awarded in special category at the Karnataka State Film Awards for the year 2004.

This film depicts the story of a farmer named "Putnanja"(Ravichandran), living with his grandmother named Putmalli(Umashri) near Nanjangud town in Mysore district. Putnanja was a man respected by everyone in the village and was well-known to all for his kindness towards poor and backward. When Putnanja hears a news regarding arrival of Roja (Meena) to India(who went to America for studies during childhood and whom Putnanja likes and wants to marry) he rushes towards her place to propose her to marry him. When Putnanja goes and proposes her, she does not even recognize him, and suggests not to talk about their marriage in future days. Putnanja's mother-in-law wants her daughter roja to get married to a rich, educated person and hence opposes Putnanja's proposal, but his father-in-law(Lokesh) wants her daughter to get married to him since he is very kind and a good man. Lokesh can't do anything he wants since he would be working as slave to his wife.

Loosely based on Grease 2, the story revolves around the protagonist, who tries to woo a classmate. On being spurned, he poses as a mysterious biker and sweeps her off her feet. Toward the end, she learns that the biker and her classmate are, in fact, the same guy.
