Synopsis
Jim Gardner, hoping to acquire the Pine Valley section around Cherokee City, Oklahoma, for the oil rights, instigates and renews an old-time feud between the Lanes and the Whittakers as each family owns half the valley. Roy Rogers and the Sons of the Pioneers take up the fight against Gardner and manage to settle the Lane-Whittaker feud.Actors

Roy Rogers, a horse dealer and a peddler of leather goods, is hoping to mate his mare named "Lady" with Golden Sovereign, a stallion owned by rancher Gabby Kendrick (George "Gabby" Hayes). Kendrick refuses, preferring to mate the stallion with his own stock. Brett Scoville (Jack Holt), a wealthy rancher and nightclub owner, wants to mate the stallion with his mare, as well, and to that end, steals the stallion. Golden Sovereign breaks free, finds Lady, and has a romantic interlude with her in the hills.

During World War II, with shipping being sunk by submarines and with an American scientist working on radio technology killed by Nazi spies, FBI agent G. B. Fleming (Roger Pryor) comes up with a plan to catch the Nazis. He believes that radio signals are alerting the Germans about ship movements.
