Meet Me on Cassiopeia (Danish: Mød mig på Cassiopeia) is a 1951 Danish musical film directed by Torben Anton Svendsen. The story is about a Muse played by Bodil Kjer interfering in a contemporary theater production, who gets as inspired by Earthly life as she inspires them. The musical was a big hit in Denmark at the time, but is probably best remembered for several top hits written for it, many of which still gets modern covers made of them; among others Den allersidste dans (English: The Very Last Dance) and Musens sang (English: The Song of the Muse).

In World War I song-and-dance man Jerry Jones (George Murphy) is drafted into the US Army, where he stages a revue called Yip Yip Yaphank. It is a rousing success, but one night during the show orders are received to leave immediately for France: instead of the finale, the troops march up the aisles through the audience, out the theater's main entrance and into a convoy of waiting trucks. It is February 1929 in the city of Chicago, Joe (Tony Curtis) is an irresponsible jazz saxophone player, gambler and ladies' man; his friend Jerry (Jack Lemmon) is a sensible jazz double-bass player. Mera Pind is the story of a well-to-do Non-resident Indian Navroz Singh Lamba, who is played by Navjot Sidhu, who has chosen to settle in his native village and spread the message of empowerment and entrepreneurship among the village youth. Led by Himmat, played by Harbhajan Maan, the youth set off a revolution in the development of the village. The story inspires Punjabis who are increasingly opting to settle abroad, to undertake business in their own villages and cities.
