Synopsis
Petros est le fils d'un riche entrepreneur. Il s'intéresse peu à l'entreprise familiale, préférant la course automobile. Cependant, il apprend qu'une île va se lancer dans le développement touristique. Il convainc son père d'acheter des terrains sur l'île. Pendant ce temps, Flora, qui possède des night-clubs, entend elle aussi parler du projet. Elle décide elle aussi d'investir sur l'île. Elle y arrive en même temps que Petros. Rapidement, leur rivalité perturbe la vie de l'île. D'autant plus que des insulaires tombent amoureux des continentaux. Marina, propriétaire d'une taverne, s'éprend de Petros tandis que le pêcheur Nikolas s'intéresse à Flora, au grand dam de sa fiancée. Pour se venger, cette dernière se laisse séduire par Iasonas, le fils de la plus grande propriétaire de l'île qui s'inquiète de la tournure des événements. Finalement, l'amour triomphe.Actors

Mary (Zoe Laskari) is a rich young lady that challenges problems in a traditional folk neighbourhood in Plaka, Athens, when she moves to play modern music in a store opposite a traditional taverna, where Fotis (Faidon Georgitsis), a bouzouki player, works along with Kostas (Kostas Voutsas), Sofia (Mary Chronopoulou) and others. The gang of the taverna soon turns against Mary, for the reason that she alters the character of the neighbourhood. Eventually, Fotis falls in love with Mary, but his friends margin him as he seems willing to sacrifice everything for her in order to be accepted by her social circles. A second love story involves in the film, as Eleni (Martha Karagianni), sister of Fotis, tries to attract Kostas using various ways.

Rumous have it that a Swiss company is making investment plans to develop a Greek island. A couple of Athenian enterpreneurs rush to the island to buy land and flip it for profit. The Athenian couple, a race-car driver and an actress, meet the resistance of the island's grand old lady who does not wish to sell land to outsiders. The business plans eventually fail to materialise but romance ensues between the actress and the son of the lady as well as the race-car driver and a local girl. The film has references to ancient Greek tragedy and contains elements from it such as a chorus.

Rena Eleftheriou (Rena Vlachopoulou), directrice d'une agence de voyages de New York, vient passer ses vacances en Grèce avec sa nièce Jenny (Zoi Laskari) et un greco-américain Jim Pappas (Giannis Vogiatzis). Elle décide d'aider financièrement son frère pour financer l'exploitation d'une source minérale découverte sur la propriété de son épouse. À Rhodes, où elle cherche un financement, Rena rencontre un homme d'affaires, Petros Ramoglou (Giorgos Gavriilidis). Andreas, le fils de celui-ci, et Kostas, un de ses amis, tentent de séduire Jenny en se faisant passer l'un pour l'autre : Kostas pour le riche Andreas et Andreas pour le pauvre Kostas. Arrive Martha, une actrice, la fiancée d'Andreas. Andreas et Jenny s'enfuient à Hydra. Martha les suit et révèle la vérité à Jenny. Rien n'y fait. Jenny reste avec Andreas. Martha se console avec Paul, le réalisateur du film dont elle est la vedette. Rena obtient les fonds pour son frère et cède aux avances de Jim Pappas.

Cinq amis, dont Klearchos (Kostas Voutsas) et Fanis (Christos Negkas), de Thessalonique ont monté un orchestre mais ils refusent de laisser Rena (Martha Karagianni) chanter pour eux. Lia (Rena Vlachopoulou) is married to retired general Solon Karaleon (Dionisis Papagiannopoulos), who is now chairman of a public organization responsible for military supplies. Her brother Antonis ([Antreas Duzos]]) is working in the organization and has made many embezzlements there along with other employees. To justify the luxurious life of her brother, Lia and Antonis pretend that he is financially supported by a wealthy uncle of them who lives in the US, which in reality is very poor. Someday, this uncle sends a letter, possibly revealing that he is not rich, to Lia which is received by Solon but he doesn't open it in order to give it personally to Lia. Her brother tries to retrieve it but Solon leaves to his home with the letter in his wallet. Arriving home it is revealed he lost his wallet on a street and Lia is calmed down that the fraud is not revealed. Solon heads towards the police department to report the loss. Inntermittently, Timoleon "Timos" Lamprou, a very honest and stubborn accountant who frequently loses his job due to his character, finds the wallet and goes to Lia's home to return it. he refuses to give the letter to Lia as the letter is firstly directed to Solon Karaleon house and secondly in person is addressed to Lia. So Timos refuses to give it to Lia which makes her furious, angry and finally violent as she attempts to throw an ashtray to him. Before she throws the ashtray, Solon returns home and is given the letter and the wallet by Timos. Solon then gives the letter to Lia but she refuses to take it, wanting not to draw attention on her ersistence to have it.

When farmer John Arable decides to "do away with" the runt of a litter of pig, his daughter Fern intervenes, telling him that it is absurd to kill it just because it is smaller than the others. John decides to spares the piglet and let Fern raise it as a pet. Fern nurtures it lovingly, naming it Wilbur. Six weeks later, Wilbur, due to being a spring pig, has matured, and John tells Fern that Wilbur has to be sold (his siblings were already sold). Fern sadly says good-bye as Wilbur is sold down the street to her uncle, Homer Zuckerman. At the farm, a goose coaxes a sullen Wilbur to speak his first words. Although delighted at this new ability, Wilbur still yearns for companionship. He attempts to get the goose to play with him, but she declines on the condition that she has to hatch her goslings. Wilbur also tries asking a rat named Templeton to play with him, but Templeton's only interests are spying, hiding, and eating. Wilbur then wants to play with a lamb, but the lamb's father says sheep do not play with pigs because it is only a matter of time before they are turned into smoked bacon and ham. Horrified at this depressing discovery, Wilbur reduces himself to tears until a mysterious voice tells him to "chin up", and wait until morning to reveal herself to him. The following morning, the voice reveals herself to be an araneus cavaticus named Charlotte living on a web overlooking Wilbur's enclosure. Charlotte tells Wilbur that she will come with a plan guaranteed to spare his life.

Act 1. Gilberte Valandray (Sabine Azéma) is the socialite wife of rich Parisian businessman Georges Valandray (Pierre Arditi) from whom she has concealed a previous but unvalidated marriage in America, being aware of her husband's belief in the indissolubility of a relationship based on a first sexual experience. In 1966, numerous pirate radio stations broadcast to the United Kingdom from ships anchored in international waters, specialising in rock and pop music that is not played on BBC Radio.
