Nilave Mugam Kaattu (English: Show Moon's Face) is a 1999 Indian Tamil film, directed by Kalanjiyam, starring Karthik, Ramki and Devayani in lead roles. The film, produced by S. Rajaram had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja and was released on 30 April 1999 to negative reviews.

The film is a remake of the Kannada movie Anuraga Sangama (1995) starring Ramesh Aravind, Kumar Govind and Sudharani which itself was an extended remake of Charlie Chaplin's City Lights.

Synopsis

Murthy (Karthik) and Prakash (Ramki) became best friends since Prakash's father (Nizhalgal Ravi) killed Murthy's mother in a car accident. Despite his father refusal, Prakash took Murthy into his house.

Chellaiya has two missions in life. One, is to remove the taint on the family name and expose the man behind his family's misfortunes. Despite the attempts made by Ranjani's father to jail Sethu by framing a fault case that Sethu killed Ranjani, no strong evidence was there to prove it. He is jailed for the offence of attempted suicide for one year.
