Synopsis
In 2047, an unknown, alien life-form, codenamed FOS, attacks Earth, destroying the world’s major cities in one fell swoop. The survivors unite to fight back, and three years later they erect a world shield, the Diffuser, to stop further invasions. Now in 2053, a last, desperate counterattack is being mounted against the FOS. Taishi Akejima, a soldier in the Planetary Defense Forces Alliance, would like nothing better than a shot at the aliens responsible for his father’s death six years ago. However, the new offensive requires a powerful weapon to be deployed and the Diffuser to be disabled, leaving the entire planet terribly vulnerable once more. Will humanity regain the stars or lose everything in the final, ultimate gamble?Actors

Le film commence avec les premières années de Endou Mamoru (Mark Evans) de Raimon. Il montre ce qui s'est passé lors du tournoi Football Frontier pendant la première moitié du film, jusqu'à ce qu'ils finissent par avoir un match avec l'équipe Ogre. Durant les vacances d'été, un digimon de type virus fait son apparition sur Internet, ce qui ne manque pas d'inquiéter Koushiro (Izzy dans la version française) qui file alors chez Taichi (Tai) pour lui faire partager sa découverte. Usant de l'ordinateur du père de Taichi et avec l'aide de Gennai, les deux enfants envoie leur partenaires digimon respectifs, Agumon et Tentomon, pour attaquer le nouvel ennemi, qui s'avère être le digimon Keramon. Toutefois, ce dernier se transforme en Infermon qui bat alors les deux monstres. Taichi tente d'appeler des renforts mais Infermon commence à corrompre tout le réseau et la communication devient très compliqué. Il parvient toutefois à contacter Yamato (Matt) et Takeru (T.K.) et très vite, WarGreymon et MetalGarurumon sont envoyés à l'attaque. Infermon se transforme alors à nouveau et devient Diablomon (Diaboromon en version française). À cause d'un geste maladroit de Taichi, la connexion internet est coupée et WarGreymon est alors à la merci du monstre qui s'enfuit une fois le combat terminé. Les enfants apprennent alors que Diablomon a piraté le Pentagone pour envoyer un missile nucléaire qui explosera dans les dix minutes sur une destination inconnue. Le seul espoir d'empêcher cela est de détruire Diablomon.

The Genesect Army comes to a mountainous, snowy area that used to be their home. However, three hundred million years have passed, and it is no longer habitable. Suddenly, an avalanche occurs, but Mewtwo arrives and manages to save four of the five Genesect. Mewtwo peers into the mind of the Douse Drive Genesect and learns what they are looking for: their home. The Red Genesect, whom Mewtwo was unable to save, then appears and attacks Mewtwo, and the Genesect Army flies off. Later, they see the skyline of a large city and mistake it for their home, leading them to travel there.
