Synopsis

Bernardo Mambelli alias "Gandhi" (Renato Pozzetto) is a PCI militant and pugilist working at a Milanese paint factory. One night, he sees a bunch of neo-Nazis beating a frail young man (Massimo Ranieri). He saves the man and brings him to his house to learn that he is Claudio, a homosexual. With nowhere to go, Claudio starts staying at Bernardo's house but a series of typical misunderstandings lead his comrades as well as his girlfriend Maria (Edwige Fenech) to believing that he has "turned gay". Bernardo is now seen as a potential lost cause and the ongoings soon reveal a "hot potato" situation for him.

Rosario Trapanese est déterminé à montrer qu’il n’est pas le typique sicilien à l’ancienne. La jalousie sicilienne typique le rend fou. Quoi qu’il en soit, après un certain temps, Rosario comprend que ce que sa femme a fait avant de le rencontrer ne doit pas être un problème pour lui. Karen avoue à Rosario qu’elle a signé un contrat pour un second film et qu’elle ne pouvait refuser qu’en payant une amende. Le couple n’a pas assez d’argent donc ils doivent trouver une solution.

The film is divided into four episodes. In the first Paolo Villaggio plays the role of a sailor from Genoa who learns from his doctor that he will soon become a woman. He begins to make plans and to daydream of what it will be like to be a woman. In the second episode Adriano Celentano is a former dancer in Emilia Romagna who now trains a woman for boxing fights. When he meets a beautiful emilian girl who is enrolling in a dance competition where a large sum of money will be awarded to the winners, Adriano does not miss the opportunity. He first tries to kill the boxer woman he works with, called "King Kong" and then leaves to go dancing with the girl, winning one turn after another. But as the couple wins the first prize Adriano is arrested by the police. In the third episode Renato Pozzetto plays the role of a poor mason from Milan who bets with some friends that he will be able to seduce the wife of his boss. Renato will succeed but will pay the consequences. In the last episode Alberto Sordi plays the role of hick Roman Nando Moriconi (same character of the film Un americano a Roma by Steno - 1954), this time he works as a body guard of a prominent Italian financier who has been the victim of many attempts to kidnap him .

Nicola est dentiste, obsédé sexuel, il multiplie les conquêtes et les maîtresses et au moment où se déroule le film il trompe sa femme avec la plantureuse Zaira. Nicola a pour assistant Peppino qui lui sert de souffre-douleur. Alfredo, un escroc a appris de la bouche de l'oncle Saverio, mourant, que celui-ci a légué toute sa fortune à son neveu Nicola. Elle consiste en un énorme diamant dissimulé dans la verroterie d'un plafonnier. Cachant la mort de l'oncle, Alfredo se fait passer pour lui et se fait héberger chez ses neveux exprimant le désir de terminer sa vie chez eux. Le couple accepte d'autant plus volontiers qu'il convoite l'héritage. Alfredo joue le « mourant » et se lève la nuit pour tenter de trouver le diamant dans le plafonnier. Refusant les services d'une vieille religieuse, Alfredo exige une infirmière de nuit jeune et bien faite, le choix de Nicola se porte alors sur Angela, la nièce d'une de ses patientes. Celle-ci attire la convoitise des hommes mais repoussant les avances de Nicola elle est attirée par Carlo le fils de maison lui-même courtisé par la voisine nymphomane du dessous. Suite à plusieurs péripéties Alfredo est démasqué avant que celui-ci ait pu dénicher le diamant, Nicola redécouvre les charmes de sa femme, Zaira lassée des infidélités de son amant se console avec Peppino tandis qu'Angela et Carlo filent le parfait amour.
