Preethse is a 2000 psychological thriller Kannada film starring Upendra, Shivrajkumar and Sonali Bendre. The film was directed by D Rajendra Babu and produced by Rockline Venkatesh. The film is a remake of the 1993 Bollywood film Darr. The film was dubbed in Telugu as Sadist.

Synopsis

Kiran (Sonali Bendre) studies at college in Kodaikanal. She is serenaded by a man whose face she does not see and believes her lover Surya (Shivrajkumar) is the one who serenaded her. However, when she sees Surya, he says he was not in Kodaikanal. Surya works in the Royal Navy under a widowed Captain.
