Raj The Showman had made average collection. And the film was considered as average hit it completed 50 days in 5 theaters.
Synopsis
Muththuraj (Puneeth Rajkumar) lives happily with his parents in a village, and his only desire is to be an actor. He comes to the city to become to pursue this goal and ends up being a junior actor in films. Meanwhile, an associate director who has full confidence in his talents starts his new film with Muththuraj as the hero. However, the film's heroine, Parvathy (Nisha Kothari), walks out because she is not keen on working in films and had only agreed to it as a result of the persistence of the director. Muththuraj starts pestering her to work with him. Meanwhile, her two relatives, who have underworld connections, want to arrange a marriage for her. She escapes with Muththuraj, and she falls in love with him. The second half of the film deals with how Muththuraj saves Parvathy and realizes his dream.Actors

The film is narrated in a non-linear fashion, with the use of several multiple flashbacks. In the opening scene, a dreaded underworld don is brutally hacked to death by unknown assailants. The police arrive at the crime scene and arrest the unknown assailant revealed as the superstar hero of the movie.
