The film is based on two volumes of Sinikka Nopola's and Tiina Nopola's children's fantasy book series Ricky Rapper. The book volumes were originally released as Risto Räppääjä ja pakastaja-Elvi of 2000 and Risto Räppääjä ja Nuudelipää of 2001. Ricky Rapper is a comedy for children. It tells about the friendship between 10-year-old boy and girl in the normal suburb neighbourhood. The film was shot in Kartanonkoski in the city of Vantaa in the summer 2007.
Ricky Rapper was the most viewed Finnish film in Finland in 2008 with its 209,506 viewers and it was the sixth most viewed of all the Finnish films. The film received more than 215,000 viewers, and the DVD version has been sold almost 100 000 copies.
The following film Ricky Rapper and the Bicycle Thief was released in 2010, and it received 38,425 viewers in its first weekend – almost double as the previous film.
Synopsis
Ricky lives with his Aunt Serena and loves playing drums. However she breaks her leg and cousin Fanny moves in to take care of the household. "Fanny the Freezer" is strict and orderly – and this means no drums for Ricky. With the help of his downstairs neighbor Nelly Butterfly, Ricky seeks to restore order to the apartment and get his drums back.Actors

In the human world, the students of Canterlot High School are preparing for an upcoming musical showcase, where Twilight Sparkle's human friends are to perform in their own band called the Rainbooms. They find that they assume half-pony forms whenever they play, which is caused by the Equestrian magic brought by Twilight's crown. Meanwhile, former school bully Sunset Shimmer is ostracized by the rest of the students despite her efforts to redeem herself, though Twilight's friends still value their newfound friendship with Sunset. Sunset volunteers to show three new students—Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk—around the school. The trio, who form a band called the Dazzlings, perform a magical song that drives the students to aggression and competition, and they convince the school to make the showcase a Battle of the Bands. Sunset and her friends are unaffected by the Dazzlings' spell, and they contact Equestria for help through a magical book given to Sunset by Princess Celestia.

The film follows the plot of the TV series SpongeBob SquarePants, focusing on the anthropomorphic sea sponge of the same name (Tom Kenny). SpongeBob dreams about managing the Krusty Krab restaurant. La veille de la rentrée des classes, Mack et Brady, deux passionnés de surf, fêtent leurs 3 mois ensemble à l'endroit de leur première rencontre en regardant leur film préféré, le film qui les a réunis : Wet Side Story. Le jour de la rentrée, le couple réalise que ça ne marche pas entre eux au lycée et décide de rompre. Pendant ce temps, dans Wet Side Story, Lela, un des deux personnages principaux, se rend compte qu'elle ne veut plus continuer à jouer ce rôle et décide de rendre visite à Mack et Brady pour apprendre à devenir celle qu'elle veut être. Tanner, son petit ami, finit par la suivre. En arrivant, ils sont émerveillés par les progrès du présent et souhaitent y rester pour toujours. Mais hélas, cela est impossible car à la suite de leur départ du film, les autres personnages commencent à disparaître. Mack et Brady doivent alors leur dire qu'en réalité, ils ne sont pas réels mais juste des personnages de fiction d'un film des années 1960.

L'histoire se déroule à Londres dans les années 1930.
