Synopsis
Alors qu’il effectue la filature d'un trader du Jockey Club, l’inspecteur principal William Luk (Louis Koo) de la Commission indépendante contre la corruption de Hong Kong est témoin du meurtre de ce trader par un assassin solitaire (Vic Chou ). L'inspecteur Lau Po-keung (Julian Cheung) de la criminelle est chargé de l’affaire du meurtre mais n'obtient aucun résultat de la part de Luk, qui refuse de révéler quoi que ce soit se rapprochant de sa propre enquête, nouvel épisode de la guerre des polices.Actors

Twelve years ago, Don (Louis Koo) was imprisoned due to murder and the fact he did not testify against the mastermind Dante (Simon Yam) and his friend Max (Julian Cheung), who was also involved of committing the crime. Twelve years later, Don is released from prison and decides not to repeat the same mistakes and make a fresh start. Notorious of its unpeace, the South district (in Hong Kong island) is ruled by five gangs. The film is set in the haunted streets of Hong Kong, with four loosely connected stories put together in one film. The movie begins as the two-year term expires, and all the elders of the Wo Shing society are in the process of electing a new chairman, with some last-minute "campaigning" from both Lok, and Big D a few days prior to the election. Lok is shown to be calm, patient and even-tempered, while Big D, who attempts to buy the election, is boisterous, impatient and quick tempered. After bitter arguments from supporters of both candidates in the likes of Uncle Cocky and Uncle Monk, Lok is elected as the new chairman. However, Big D is dismayed by the result and proceeds to punish two men responsible for his loss by kidnapping them and rolling them down a hill in boxes, prompting ex-chairman Whistle to ask his lieutenant Four-Eye to hide the dragon head baton, which is a symbol of power for the leader.
