Story revolves around a police officer who kills a bandit and adopts his orphan son. The boy becomes a police officer and falls in love with the man's daughter Gauri played by Farha. Bachelor Shankar Saxena lives with his elder brother, Chief Engineer Vinay, his wife Kavita, and their daughter of marriageable age, Pooja. Shankar is an undercover CBI Officer, a fact that was hidden from the rest of the family, until only recently. Madhu (Kanishka Kapoor) lives a wealthy lifestyle in Mussoorie and operates Hotel Savoy. The only one missing is Mirza, who had stated that he will be arriving later. Instead, however, ACP Sumed Singh (Raj Babbar) arrives to inform them that Mirza has been killed in a car explosion.
