Farah Naaz is a Bollywood actress of the 1980s and early 90s films. Her landmark films were Imaandaar(1987), Hamara Khandaan (1987), Woh Phir Ayegi(1988), Naqab (1989), Yateem (1989), Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri (1990) and Begunaah (1991) and Sautela Bhai(1996). She retired from acting at the peak of her career in 1990 at the age of 22. She worked with almost all of the top actors of her time, including Rajesh Khanna, Rishi Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Mithun, Govinda, and Aamir Khan.

The story is about Gaurav Gupta (Ajay Devgn), a successful businessman, who started with nothing and believes that only money can fuel his ambitions. Twenty years ago Angar Chand (Amrish Puri) lived a wealthy lifestyle in a small town in India along with his wife, Parvati, and four sons, Balram (Jackie Shroff), Kishan (Paresh Rawal), Shakti (Arbaaz Khan) and Jai (Akshaye Khanna). Since Balram is of marriageable age, he arranges his marriage with the daughter of Laxmi Devi (Laxmi), who opposes this marriage. During the wedding ceremony, Laxmi Devi and her sons, Surajbhan, and Pratap forcibly take away their sister and accidentally kill Parvati. They subsequently get their sister married to Kashinath (Shakti Kapoor). An enraged Angar hacks Laxmi's husband to death, is arrested and sentenced to 14 years in prison. When he returns he makes it clear that women will not be permitted in his house, posting a sign on the front gate, and forbids his sons to ever marry.

Wealthy industrialist Yashpal Nanda (Saeed Jaffrey) is widowed, and lives with his daughter, Nisha(Pinky Singh), and two sons, Vijay (Rahul Roy), and Arjun (Govinda). He gets Nisha married to Nilesh (Dalip Tahil), while Vijay gets married to Madhu (Farha Naaz), and Yashpal is on the look-out for a suitable bride for Arjun . Arjun lives a charmed life, surrounded by the family he loves and working at his family's thriving business. Then he meets Pooja (Manisha Koirala), and his life gets even better. The two quickly fall in love. Yashpal is overjoyed and happy with Arjun's choice and cannot wait for them to get married. Customs Officer Bharat Srivastav lives a middle-class life with his sister Rajni; wife Sangita and a small son. Rajni is soon to get married to Inspector Gautam. He is known for his unorthodox methods of apprehending smugglers, and it is these methods that land him in trouble with the Shikari brothers (Tejaa, Dharma, Tinnu, Chinnu and Pappu). Bharat decides to oppose them, and as a result the Shikari brothers recruit false eyewitnesses, pay them to give false testimonies and get the complaint dismissed. When Bharat persists, his family is abducted and subsequently killed. Bharat manages to kill some of the culprits, however, is arrested, found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment. On the way to prison, the vehicle meets with an accident, killing everyone on board. Relieved at the death of their nemesis, the Shikari brothers celebrate - only to find out that they now have a new unknown enemy - an enemy who will kill them one by one - for an unknown reason. Watch what happens when the Shikari brothers investigate and attempt to entrap this new nemesis.

Suraj and Deepak live a poor lifestyle in a village along with their widowed father, who has always taught them to be honest.
