Shivashankar (Kannada: ಶಿವಶಂಕರ್) is a 1990 Indian Kannada film, directed by H. R. Bhargava and produced by Bhargava and Rajaram. The film stars Vishnuvardhan, Shobhana, Ramesh Bhat and Mukhyamantri Chandru in lead roles. The film had musical score by Rajan-Nagendra.

Sathya has come up in life the hard way as he lost his mother when he was a small boy and his father was framed and arrested on criminal charges. Sathya, unaware of his father's innocence, takes custody of his five young sisters. Sathya's father Bhadra was cheated by his brother-in-law who poisons his sister's mind to leave her husband, but she commits suicide later and her son Sathya is left with his five sisters. Sathya take care of his sisters well and educates them, but they are under his strict control and any person who plays foul with them faces his wrath, but he finds himself in trouble because of this tough character. Meanwhile, Sathya's father is released from prison and now wants to take revenge on his brother-in-law but the latter joins hands with some villains who want to settle scores with Bhadra and his son. They hatch a plan to a create rift in Sathya's family and surprising everyone succeeds as well. Will Sathya reunite his family again, and prove his father's innocence form the climax.

Ondu Muttina Kathe revolves around a deep sea diver, played by Rajkumar, who dives into the sea in search of pearls. One day he manages to bring a shining pearl to his house. The news spreads around the village and he finds everyone wants to own it. And at the same time his baby falls sick and he takes the baby to a doctor, who treats the baby and asks for the pearl instead of money. Meanwhile, others in the village hatch plans to steal the pearl from the fisherman. Disgusted by human greed, the fisherman dumps the pearl back into the sea.

His catchphrase in this phase is shown to be "piece, piece" or alternatively "ella, piece piece" describing the state in which the target of his anger is left.
