Synopsis

The film is a mythological story based on the legend of Lord Venkateswara Avatar at Tirumala.

Hari and Shiva Prasad are siblings. Once Shiva breaks their family photo unintentionally, then Hari beats Shiva and escapes from home. Hari was brought up by a notorious smuggler (Kaikala Satyanarayana). The smuggler changes his name into Shri Krishna which was his demised son's name. A grown up Krishna (Krishnam Raju) is a womaniser and uses women for one-night stands and one of them is Asha (Jayamalini. He dearly loves Parvati (Jayasudha), a friend of his sister Madhavi (Madhavi). However Parvati and Shiva Prasad (Murali Mohan) love each other. When Krishna proposes to Parvati, she refuses. Jealous Krishna attempts to kill Shiva Prasad. Accidentally he saw their childhood photo and recognizes him as his own younger brother. He arranges the marriage of Shiva Prasad and Parvati. Shiva Prasad comes to know about the affection of Krishna on Parvati, he starts hating Parvati. To break the deadlock, Krishna kills himself.

Jayachandra Maharaja (Vijay Kumar) of the Chandraprabha Dynasty deserts Vasundhara (K. R. Vijaya), a woman who gives birth to his son. Vasundhara, loses the child in a cyclone while crossing a river. She is found the hermitage revives her. Vasundhara, on learning the loss of her son attempts suicide. Concerned, Jamadagni creates a mystical flower on a bush, and tells Vasundhara that the flower will be in fresh and in bloom as long as her son is alive and well. Ramu (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is an orphan whom Lawyer Raghava Rao (Jaggayya) and Gayatri Devi (Sharada) had adopted and treated him like a son. Ramu was treated as one of their four children. So they plan and remove Ramu from their house and takes all the authorities. Now Ramu is trying to reunite his family.

Nagabhushanam takes the help of Jaggu (Sridhar) to sent Ramu away from the forest. Later half reveals that Ramu was in fact a Forest officer in secret mission to investigate the case of Forest affairs. The story finally leads to the arrest of criminals.
