Ranganath B.A. (Telugu: రంగనాథ్) is a versatile Telugu film actor. He has acted some 300 films and played social and mythological roles.
He was born in Madras in 1949. His birth name is Tirumala Sundara Sri Ranganath. He has graduated (B.A.) from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati and worked as ticket collector in Indian Railways for some time. He has two daughters and one son.
He has entered films and acted first time in Budhimantudu (1969). Giribabu gave him chance to act as Hero in Chandana (1974). Subsequently he has acted in lead roles in Zamindarugari Ammayi, Devatalara Deevinchandi, Panthulamma, Intinti Ramayanam, America Ammayi and Andame Anandam and established in the field of Telugu cinema.

The film opens in a hospital at Mumbai, where Bose (Nandamuri Balakrishna) coming back to life after staying in a coma for eighteen months. As soon as he recovers, Bose is identified as Godse by everyone around him and he is surprised when an elderly couple, (Chandra Mohan & Jaya Sudha), claim to be his parents. Bose keeps convincing all of them that he is not Godse and has his own story. Soon, he comes to Hyderabad in search of his true identity and he bumps into Mahalakshmi (Trisha), who he believes is his lover. When she tells him that it's a case of mistaken identity, Godse is taken aback and he meets a similar fate when he meets his parents (Chalapathi Rao & Geetha) as well. Suddenly a girl Sarayu (Radhika Apte) arrives as Godse's wife a tries him to remember their marriage life, which makes a lot of confusion. Later Godse finds out that it was all a ruse set up by the Bharadwaja (Prakash Raj) and his real name is Bose. The rest of this movie deals with why the CM wanted Bose alive and why did he set up him with a new identity? Bose, a sincere and powerful CBI Officer on a mission to crack the suspicious death of former Chief Minister of State Achyuta Ramayya (Vijay Kumar). Bose learns that influential person, sitting CM Bharadwaj is behind the death of former CM and tries to prove him of guilty. Which forms the rest are the obstacles created by Bharadwaj and how Bose overcome them.

Rama Chandra (NTR Jr) is an orphan who leads a simple life along with his friend (played by Ali). He falls in love with Sathya (Trisha Krishnan), who is a very rich girl. Sathya imposes a condition that Rama Chandra's family history and pedigree are very important. At this very moment, Rama Chandra comes to know that a rich and powerful royal family is on the lookout to adopt an heir and Rama Chandra seizes the chance. But once he goes there, he realises that things are not as simple as they seem. The family has a violent past and a bitter dispute with another powerful family (headed by Nassar). He also realises that thousands of people in the area are now dependent on him for their very survival. He also discovers that he is the real heir to the family. Rama Chandra does not like violence and he tries his best to solve the problems peacefully. But the rival gang does not give him a chance. Vexed with the violence Rama Chandra kills Nasser's two sons and opens eyes of Nasser by placing a sword on Nasser's third son. In climax, Nasser realises that he was wrong and apologizes to all. Rama Chandra becomes the hero of the village.

Subrahmanyam (Allari Naresh) is an intelligent, hardworking software engineer. He lives with his uncle (Ahuti Prasad), keeps the poster of Bill Gates in his room, spends most of his time with his girlfriend Madhu (Anita Hassanandani), and Busy Balraj (Brahmanandam). After getting drunk heavily one night, he wakes up with a girl Sanjana (Ritu Barmecha). Neither he nor does the girl remember how they got together, but they both start to believe that they had sex. It isn't before too long that the girl's goon brothers (Srihari, Subbaraju, Samrat), warn him of dire consequences if he doesn't get married to their innocent sister. No matter how hard he tries to escape the marriage, it seems he can't evade the brothers eyes. Just when he has given up all hope and agrees to the forced marriage, he stumbles upon a secret that turns the tables on the brothers. Chakradhar (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is a famous movie actor though his mother (Jayasudha) doesn’t approve of his celebrity status. Instead, she yearns to see her son as a Major in the Army, true to the promise she has given to Bobbili Puli (N. T. Rama Rao). As Chakradhar dons various roles, an army Colonel Jeetendra (Murali Mohan) tells him that he has a story in which he wants Chakradhar to act. The Colonel narrates him a story of an army major – Major Jaya Simha (again Balakrishna). However, there is a catch. Major Jaya Simha is not a fictional character, but a real time army man who looks ditto like Chakradhar, and valiantly arrested a dreaded terrorist – Abdul Ghani. The tragedy is Jaya Simha is now in a vegetable state (on ventilation), thanks to a conspiracy plotted by politicians, few army men and terrorists themselves. Colonel Jeetendra asks Chakradhar to act like Major to ensure that the nation’s security plans are not compromised. How Chakradhar attacks the terrorists and how he brings back the honor of the Major forms the rest of the story.

Veeravenkata Satyanarayana Swamy (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is beloved by villagers whose lives were forever changed by his presence.
