Thayamma is a 1991 Tamil-language Indian feature film directed by Gopi Bhimsingh, starring Pandiyan, Anand Babu and Babu with Geetha and Oru Thalai Ragam Shankar. The film also starred Goundamani as well as Senthil. The film was a remake of Malayalam film Thoovalsparsham which was inspired by the 1985 French film Three Men and a Cradle. The film was dubbed in Telugu as Bujjipapa Brahmacharulu.
Synopsis
Three young bachelors Pandiyan (Pandiyan), Anand (Anand Babu) and Babu (Babu) are friends and room-mates in an apartment. One day, Pandiyan warns his friends that a parcel will arrive during his absence. The next day, Anand and Babu find a baby (Baby Radha) before their door. The three bachelors swear that they are not her father. Since then, their lives are completely changed. First, they try to abandon the baby but then they take care of the baby and name her Thayamma. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.Actors

Harikrishnan (Mohanlal), an immigrant in Mumbai, who like many thousands of immigrants is busy struggling to make ends meet. He shares a room with a group of Malayali guys, who too have their own personal problems and difficulties. The film begins with Harikrishnan witnessing the murder of a journalist, and is wanted by police to appear at an identification parade, which he does. Hari and his friends stay at a room in Kamathipura, which also homes the largest red lighted area in India. He accidentally meets Kiran (Geetha), a Telugu girl in the brothel, for whom he develops a soft feeling. In a short attempt to make money, Hari and friends starts making local hooch, which is supplied by Manikandan (Jagadish), their friend, who is also a taxi driver. Shekhar (Shankar), one among the guys falls in love with the sister of Mani, without the knowledge of anyone else.
