The Man Without Sleep (German:Der Mann ohne Schlaf) is a 1926 German silent film directed by Carl Boese and starring Harry Liedtke, Maly Delschaft and Fritz Kampers. It premiered in Berlin on 12 February 1926. The film's art direction was by Julius von Borsody.

Meyer, an ambitious young Jewish man, tries to pass himself off as a successful business tycoon in order to marry into an upper-class family. He has impressed the girl's father of his suitability but the daughter shows her reluctance to marrying him because she is in love with another man named Walter. Meyer mistakenly advises Walter to elope with his secret girlfriend, without realising he is sabotaging his own dream of marrying her. In the end Meyer happily settles down with his secretary who has always loved him.

Set in Jewish ghetto of medieval Prague, the film begins with Rabbi Loew, the head of the city's Jewish community, reading the stars. Loew predicts disaster for his people and brings his assistant to inform the elders of the community. The next day the Holy Roman Emperor signs a royal decree declaring that the Jews must leave the city before the new moon. The Emperor sends the knight Florian to deliver the decree. Loew meanwhile begins to devise a way of defending the Jews.
