The film recorded as Average at the box-office.
Synopsis
The story begins with four friends Ram Murthy (Satyanarayana) hotel Server, Damodaram (Rao Gopal Rao) Photographer, Kotaiah (Nutan Prasad) Chariot Rider, Bhadraiah (Bheemiswara Rao) bandmaster. Ram Murthy happy with his wife and two sons Raja and Sandeep, Damodaram has a son Siva, even Raja & Siva are also close friends, BBhadraiah has two daughters Lata and Rani. Once a drunker (Allu Ramalingaiah) who cannot pay his bill decides to sell his ticket to the server Ram Murthy and he purchases the ticket with his three friends. When the ticket turns out to be a winner, Damodaram and Kotaiah turn on the other two, murdering Bhadraiah and framing Ram Murthy goes on the run but Kotaiah and Damodaram intervene and throw him over a bridge into a river and soon after Ram Murthy wife also dies in an accident and his two children are taken care by Mary (Sumitra) whom Ram Murthy looks as her own sister, along With her daughter Julie.Actors

Narrator Viraj Anand is the younger son of Satyamurthy, a billionaire businessman who dies in an accident. Although Anand has ₹3 billion worth of property and stock which is worthless, he owes an equal amount. Paida Sambasiva Rao, one of Satyamurthy's creditors, suggests that Anand file for bankruptcy to protect his wealth but Anand wants to preserve his father’s image. Anand's older brother becomes mentally unstable and, at Sambasiva Rao's advice, the father of Anand's fiancée Pallavi cancels their upcoming wedding. Anand and his family move to a simpler home in Hyderabad, and he becomes the family's sole breadwinner. He joins his friend's event-management company as a wedding planner, and his assistant Parandhamaiah goes with him.

Appa Rao (Rajendra Prasad) is a bachelor who manages every day by living off the loans he takes from others. He manages to coerce the local MLA Nadendla Anjaiah (Babu Mohan) into promising for repaying his debts in exchange for the votes in Anjaiah's favor from the debtors of Appa Rao. One night, he meets a lady constable Subba Lakshmi (Shobana) who slaps him for trying to protect some rowdies who tried to molest her. They meet again and spar with each other, this time over a lottery ticket for Rs. 10 lakhs, and end up tearing the ticket. The seller (Ali) refuses to take it back instead advises them to keep the two halves with them so that if they win the lottery they could share the prize money. As luck would have it, their ticket wins the lottery and Appa Rao fakes a story about his family troubles to retrieve the other half of the ticket from Subba Lakshmi. Though aware of the pretense of Appa Rao, she donates the other half as she comes to know that the ticket didn't win the lottery and it was mistakenly printed in the newspaper earlier. Appa Rao later realises the same and confronts her, but she tells him that she sacrificed her ticket as she believed his story. As a result, Appa Rao falls in love with her and overcome by emotion, tries to kiss her, but she slaps him for the second time. Subba Lakshmi also falls in love with Appa Rao.

Alexander (Arjun) is a henchman who works for the smuggler Peter (Tiger Prabhakar) and Alexander is considered by Peter as his faithful henchman. Peter often confronts his enemy Ayyanar (Radha Ravi). Ayyanar forces the innocent Anu (Kushboo) to dance in stage and he ill-treats her. Peter orders Alexander to kill the Ayyanar's weak point Anu. The story starts with Divakaram (Rajendra Prasad) coming late to video-shoot a marriage, where he sees Bhuvaneshwari and falls head over heels in love. He then gets a hold of Bhuvaneshwari's maternal uncle VP Jagannatham (Pradeep Shakti) and gets information about Bhuvaneshwari. He gathers that she respects only the people who are self-sufficient and straightforward. He also finds out that she is not married and is about to get transferred to Rajamundry (where he stays) soon. She works as a railway booking clerk. So Divakaram comes back to the Rajamundry and gets permission from the doctor (Shubha), who raises him as her foster child to use the front veranda in her house for his video shop. In order to secure the capital he uses all kinds of tricks. He blackmails Bhagyam (Jayalalita), cheats Chinna Rao (Mallikarjuna Rao) and claims a chit which he never was a member of, and so on. Finally starts the video shop. That's when Bhuvaneswari enters the scene. All the while Jagannatham writes him letters in her name making Divakaram assume that she is in love with him. Finally when she lands in Rajamundy he approaches for marriage. It's then that he realizes that he had been cheated by Jagannatham. Meanwhile, she finds out all of Divakaram’s mischief through the neighbours. To teach him lesson, she puts forward a deal that she would marry him only if he stays out of cheating, and does not utter a lie in a month. Divakaram goes for it.

Captain Nagarjuna (Akkineni Nagarjuna) saves the passengers and the flight by landing it safely in spite of engine failure. He falls in love with one of his passengers, Radha (Kushboo). Co-pilot Murthy and Radha's friend Manju are lovers. Radha is a renowned classical dancer, visiting her uncle Ananda Rao. He impersonates as Ananda Rao's nephew. He insistently tries to make Radha accept his love. Ananda Rao returns from his business trip and promises to help Nag. Radha refuses to listen. Nagarjuna challenges Radha for a dance competition. The loser shall listen to the winner. During the competition, Radha loses her step, and, at the brink of losing, kisses Nag. Stunned Nag stops dancing. Radha wins. Nag accuses her, and, he would never again approach her. Nag meets with an accident while driving in an agitated state of mind. Radha goes to the hospital to reveal her past. Nag refuses to listen. They get married and live blissfully. Prabhu, Radha's manager who also wished to marry her, plans on revenge. He invites Nag to an art exhibition where Nag finds a portrait of Radha which depicts a mole at an objectionable part of the body. Nag starts suspecting Radha. He meets the artist Ravi (Rajendra Prasad), who made the portrait. He invites Ravi to felicitate him for his award winning a portrait. Radha is stunned to see Ravi at her home. Nag's behavior troubles her. On the stage, Radha is asked to unveil the portrait. When they reach home, Radha accuses Nag of suspecting her. When he wants to know the truth, she explains about Ravi. Ravi and Radha are colleges, mates. Ravi is in love with Radha, but, she does not agree. She discontinues college unable to bear ragging by Ravi's friends. Ravi is Ananda Rao's son. Radha finally agrees to marry Ravi at the insistence of her mother and Ananda Rao. The wedding is cancelled when Ravi brings a first wife. Radha decides to never marry. Nag still wants an explanation about the mole. Radha denies any knowledge and leaves him for suspecting her. When Nag starts drinking and decides to die, Radha pledges to kill Ravi, to prove her innocence. Overhearing, Ravi writes letters to Nag and Ananda Rao. The truth is Ravi cancelled his marriage with Radha because he has a fatal illness. He noticed the mole when his friends tore Radha's blouse while ragging her at college. Ravi dies confirming Radha's innocence. Nag and Radha reconcile and live happily.
