Talakadu Srinivasaiah Nagabharana (born 1953) is an Indian film director, in the Kannada film industry and one of the pioneers of the parallel Cinema. He is one of the few film directors to have straddled both the mainstream as well as parallel cinema worlds. He has achieved success both in Television and Cinema
He has been the recipient of international, national, state and other awards for 20 of his 34 Kannada movies in the last 40 years. He was also nominated as the Chairman of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy (KCA), Bangalore [Government of Karnataka] (State Film Academy).

Talakadu Srinivasaiah Nagabharana was born in 1953. He is an ardent and avid reader of Indian English literature. He holds a degree in Science and Law.

The film is centered around the rivalry between two neighboring villages with rival gangs in both competing in every aspect. Nandeesha (Yash), also known as Gooli is a road side romeo with no real direction to his life. He is flanked by his friends who support him in every act. Meanwhile, he falls in love with Nethra (Oviya), a girl studying at a college in the neighboring town. While Nandeesha is busy with his love life, one of his friends likes a girl from the neighboring village. To help him in the act, he plans to elope the girl and almost succeeds with his plan, but it is finally disrupted due to a problem in their vehicle. After this the rivalry between the two villages reaches a high with Nethra's brother vowing to avenge the dishonor. The rest of the movie revolves around how Gooly manages to win over Nethra despite the rivalry.

Après avoir étudié aux États-Unis Nandan revient dans son village du Karnataka à l’occasion du décès de son père. Il reprend l’élevage de vaches de ce dernier, et se retrouve ainsi à la tête de la principale activité économique du village. Rapidement, il entre en désaccord avec le prêtre du village, pourtant son ami d’enfance, au sujet des vaches. Nandan, en partie sous l’influence de son épouse américaine, considère surtout son troupeau comme une source de profit et souhaite moderniser son exploitation, tandis que le prêtre est indigné par le peu de respect dont Nandan fait preuve envers un animal sacré dans la religion hindoue. Les deux hommes vont user l’un de son influence morale et religieuse, l’autre de son pouvoir économique, pour rallier les villageois à leur cause.
