Synopsis
L'histoire raconte l'aventure de deux extra-terrestres dans leur vaisseau spatial. Trava, qui est un ancien pilote de l'armée, et Shinkai, son mécano. Ils errent dans l'univers et survivent en faisant des petits boulots. Cette fois-ci, on leur a confié une mission plutôt bien payée. Les deux héros sont envoyés pour tracer la carte d'une planète éloignée, dans la zone 78. Mais lors de leur périple, une capsule de survie apparaît près de la planète à explorer. Ils sont loin de se douter de ce qui les attends par la suite...Actors

Vous ne verrez point entre ces lignes le synopsis sensé d'un film avec un début et une fin. Funky Forest est un grand mélange de fondus, d’absurdités, de retours en arrière, d’ellipses et de rêves lucides où les moments magiques et insensés s'enchaînent toujours d’une façon audacieuse et aléatoire. En parcourant Funky Forest, on y découvre un spectacle d'un surréalisme psychédélique de première eau. Multitude d’anomalies biologiques inexplicables, personnages extraterrestres, bio-curiosités s'entrechoquant avec toute la logique chaotique d’un vidéoclip seront liés au malaise des balbutiements amoureux et autres déceptions du genre.

In the future, on the planet Dorothy, a world dominated by canine humanoids, duck's ass-hairstyle wearing "Sweet" JP races in the planet's Yellowline car race, a final elimination race despite two interplanetary wars to the most popular race in the galaxy, the Redline. The crowd is watching the race on an outdoor giant monitor screen in the desert town of the Water Stop. His mechanic, Joshua "Frisbee" Flathead, is watching the televised race with a mafia boss. The gambling boss is concerned that JP might attempt to win the fixed race but Frisbee reassures him that JP needs bail bond funds from the pay-off. JP attempts to win anyway while Frisbee resorts to using a remote detonator transmitter hidden in the palm of his hand which the mob boss doesn't notice, causing JP's TransAM20000 to explode and making the 'Crab Sonoshee Sea' hovercraft piloted by female racer Sonoshee "Cherry Boy Hunter" McLaren the winner.

The film is concerned with the lives of the Haruno family, who live in rural Tochigi Prefecture, the countryside north of Tokyo. Nobuo is a hypnotherapist. He teaches his son, Hajime, Go. Partie à la banque vérifier ses économies, Toshiko se retrouve nez à nez avec un braqueur cagoulé... Plus tard, accidentellement, elle percute la voiture de deux hommes qui poursuivaient un des deux braqueurs. Celui-ci se nomme Samehada. Il vient en effet de braquer la banque mais a décidé de ne pas rendre le magot à son patron et s'enfuit au grand désarroi de son complice, Yamada. Samehada se retrouve poursuivi par son ancien complice et ses hommes de main, en compagnie de Toshiko qui elle aussi fuit, non pas des yakuzas mais son oncle obsédé.

Arsène Lupin III, grandson of the legendary gentleman thief Arsène Lupin, is a member of the Hong Kong-based thieving ring known as The Works, which specializes in stealing valuable objects from wealthy owners. Lupin beats his fellow Works members Fujiko Mine (his would-be lover), Pierre (a computer genius) and Jiro to the theft of a valuable medal in Singapore, but is forced to surrender it to his rival, Michael Lee, when he threatens to kill him and Fujiko. At a meeting of The Works, Fujiko is hailed as the culprit behind the theft (thanks to Michael's machinations), and Thomas Dawson, the leader of the organization, shows them the most valuable item in The Works' possession - the Crimson Heart of Cleopatra, a necklace commissioned by Mark Antony to symbolize his love for the Queen of the Nile. However, a ruby of Cleopatra's intended to complete the necklace has not yet been recovered. A trio of thugs led by Michael - Royal, Saber and Maria - steal the necklace and kill Jiro and Dawson, apparently in revenge for 'Edward Lam', resulting in the dissolution of The Works. Lupin, Fujiko, Pierre and Daisuke Jigen join forces to find Michael and the necklace.

Rin (Yumi Sugimoto), a young high school student, is an unassuming and awkward girl who is bullied at school. One day, while being bullied, she feels a sharp pain in her hand. Gamera self-destructed to destroy several Gyaos in 1973, the tale picks up thirty three years later, when the son of one of the survivors of that incident finds an unusual egg, from which a baby turtle hatches. The boy, Toru, raises the creature, quickly realizing it as remarkable in that it hovers and breathes fire. The creature quickly outgrows the house, is relocated by Toru and his friends to maintain secrecy, and then disappears.
