Zatoichi and the One-Armed Swordsman, also known as Zatoichi Meets the One-Armed Swordsman, is a 1971 Hong Kong and Japanese wuxia/chambara crossover film directed by Chinese film director Hsu Tseng Hung and Japanese film director Kimiyoshi Yasuda. The film stars Jimmy Wang Yu as the "One-Armed Swordsman" Wang Gang and Shintaro Katsu as the blind masseur Zatoichi. This film is a crossover of the One-Armed Swordsman and Zatoichi film series.
It is rumored that here were originally two different endings where one ending is Zatoichi winning the fight and alternate ending is Wang Gang, the One-Armed Swordsman winning the fight, however this has yet to be verified.
Synopsis
Une procession officielle tourne au carnage lorsque les gardes de l'escorte tentent de tuer un jeune garçon d'origine chinoise qui a eu le malheur de se trouver sur leur route. Sa famille, qui vole à son secours, est massacrée mais les agresseurs sont à leur tour décimés par un étrange bretteur manchot, Wang Kang (Jimmy Wang Yu), venu à la rescousse de ses compatriotes. L'enfant arrive à s'enfuir et est recueilli par Zatoichi qui finit par croiser la route de Wang. Mais ils sont poursuivis par les hommes du gouvernement et des yakuzas à leur solde, qui veulent faire disparaître les derniers témoins du drame tout en accusant Wang du massacre. Ce dernier se méfie de tout le monde, y compris de Zatoichi dont il ne comprend pas la langue.Actors

Ichi is being taken to Doyoma, all expenses paid by an employee of Doyoma crime boss Hikozo, on the promise of just meeting with Hikozo, no obligation to do anything. On the way his guide is killed by Hikozo's rivals who overheard Ichi and his guide at a tea house. Ichi kills them including the husband of Hisa, a woman who watches the short fight. She tells him this when he asks and they part coolly.

Au hasard de ses pérégrinations, Zatoïchi se retrouve à passer près de Kasama, son village natal qu'il a quitté depuis vingt ans. La nostalgie le pousse à franchir les portes du village qui, à sa grande surprise, retentit de clameurs de bienvenue. Ce n'est pas lui la cause de cette effervescence, mais Shinbei, ancien du village, revenu pour payer les dettes des paysans ruinés. Pourtant, la générosité du riche marchand Shinbei, qui est aussi l'ami d'enfance de Zatoïchi, cache un plan crapuleux : le contrôle de l'économie locale, avec l'aide d'un clan yakuza et du gouverneur corrompu. Many years ago ronin killed parents of the young girl named O-kin, and crippled her by cut off her right arm and gouged out her right eye. Ichi (which is the main character's name, Zato being the lowest rank in the Todoza) is attacked by a young yakuza man he has never met. The man is despatched and tells Ichi that he did it to get ten ryo reward for his mother. Ichi travels to the mother's town and enters a local wrestling match and defeats several sighted opponents. While Maki, the young man's mother, accepts Ichi as honorable for confessing to the death, the opponents, part of a local Yakuza gang, seek to reclaim their honor by claiming Ichi's life.
