Zorawar is an upcoming Punjabi action film directed by Vinnil Markan. The film features musical artist Yo Yo Honey Singh in the titular character, alongside actresses Gurbani Judge and Parul Gulati. Filmed mostly in Durban, the first look poster unveiled in May 2014. An official first look was later unveiled on 18 August 2015 whilst the film is expected to release early winter 2015.

Nihal Singh (Gippy Grewal), living in the village of Nalun tattebha is considered a burden on the head of villagers and they all decide to throw him out of the village on the advice of Sarpanch (Avtar Gill). Nihal's mother is a widow who lost her husband when Nihal was only a few years old. Meanwhile, Nihal's best friend Taari (Binnu Dhillon), who is addicted to watching girls with his associates on the Internet and print their photos out, plans an idea to clear up the whole situation. Taari says that to solve the situation he should marry Sarpanch's niece Sapna, an overweight girl, which he initially goes through with before regretting his actions. A comic situation arises when Sapna tells her Uncle (Sarpanch) that she loves Nihal and will die if she doesn't marry him.

The film opens in UK where Colonel Viren Nanda (Jimmy Shergill) goes to meet a wanted terrorist Omar Zafar (Danny Denzongpa) in his holding cell. As Viren informs Zaffar that he will be extradited back to India for his crimes, Zafar's men enter his holding cell, led by Hamid Gul (Jaaved Jaffrey), murdering all guards around them, with Zaffar then murdering Viren by shooting him and then burning him. As Zaffar escapes in a helicopter waiting on the roof, he puts a $5 million reward for someone to steal the Koh-i-Noor diamond from the Tower of London, but with one condition – the thief must be Indian, to hold up a new extradition treaty between India and UK. Soon after, a man named Rajveer Nanda (Hrithik Roshan) steals it, and when Zaffar's men are informed of the theft, they travel to Rajveer for the deal. Although they initially travel with the $5 million reward, Rajveer informs them that he now wants $20 million for the deal. Following the disdain of the comment made by Rajveer, a fight breaks out between Rajveer and Zaffar's men after which Rajveer flies away. After Rajveer escapes, a CCTV footage of him is captured, showing that he is in Shimla. Following Rajveer's escape, he sees Harleen (Katrina Kaif) sitting in a restaurant, who is there waiting for her internet date, "Vickie", to show up. Rajveer enters the restaurant posing as "Vickie" and woos her over. He convinces Harleen to use the bathroom and whilst she is in there, Rajveer fights the remaining men and leaves the restaurant, much to the dismay of Harleen. As she drives home, Harleen accidentally runs over Rajveer, who asks her to stitch up a gunshot wound sustained during the fight. Rajveer then gives Harleen drugged water, with her complying with what he says about the government officials, informing her about where to find guns underneath car seats and what they will say about him.

The film is about Surya Narayan (Jeet) who was once a software engineer but quits his job to give it to his friend and is unemployed in the city of Cooch Behar. Poulomi (Sayantika Banerjee) is a girl from Kolkata who studies in college and comes to Cooch Behar for her vacation to stay with her elder brother Madan Mohan (Kharaj Mukherjee) and his wife. Surya falls in love with Poulomi at first sight and starts chasing her to win her heart and enters the upper portion of their house as tenants with his brother, Upendra Narayan (Biswajit Chakraborty) and sister in law (Tulika Basu). In this process Surya will have clash with local rowdy Shanatan Panja (Tamal Roychowdhury). Mistaking him to be one tapori, Poulomi hates him first but later on she realizes his true nature . She returns to Kolkata and lives with her older brother (Ashish Vidyarthi), a former builder and now a very powerful rowdy who is very possessive and protective about his sister. Surya follows Poulomi to Kolkata and works his way into their house with the help of Madan Mohan and finally both of them confess their love. There, Surya knows the flashback of Poulomi and how she is being chased by the notorious and cruel Tony Bharadwaj (Mukul Dev) assisted by his uncle (Supriyo Dutta) for marriage. Surya fights Tony, Poulomi's older brother kills Tony, and Surya marries Poulomi.

Shaitan starts off with Amy (Kalki Koechlin), who is mentally disturbed and deeply affected by the attempted suicide and eventual institutionalisation of her mother. She moves from Los Angeles to Mumbai, where she meets KC (Gulshan Devaiya) at a party her parents forcefully take her to. KC introduces her to his gang – Dash (Shiv Pandit), Zubin (Neil Bhoopalam) and Tanya (Kirti Kulhari). They lead a directionless life, having fun, drinking, using drugs and driving around in a Hummer. Rehan (Mahaakshay Chakraborty) is sent to a mansion by his father, who is in the real estate business. The mansion's caretaker died two days ago, and the mansion is going to be sold off in ten days. Rehan's father suspects this as the doing of a rival real estate company, so he sends Rehan to investigate. He meets a rag-picker on the way who tells him that only he can do it. (It means that only he can stop the hauntings of the Glen Manor.) Mysterious things happen that night. Rehan sees a girl playing piano who vanishes when the door is opened; a book drops from a bookshelf on its own and Rehan finds a letter inside. The letter, written by Meera (Tia Bajpai), tells her story from 1936 when her parents left for Delhi and left her alone with her nanny Margaret (Achint Kaur), a servant and a driver. In the absence of her parents, her piano teacher Iyar (Arif Zakaria) tries to rape her. However, she saves herself by hitting Iyer with a candle stand on his head, which results in his death. Soon, the police corroborate Meera's story, as they find explicit sketches of her in Iyar's house. However, Iyer returns in the form of an evil spirit, killing both the servants and the nanny by cutting their heads. The spirit rapes Meera repeatedly, which leads her to commit suicide, but even after her death her spirit is tortured and trapped in the mansion by the evil spirit.

How the love life of Siva Krishna with college-mate Geeta (Amala Paul), daughter of top brass policeman Adi Vishnu (Ahuti Prasad), is affected in the process forms another angle in story.

The film starts in the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, where a coach says "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag!" The story is taken back to the memories of the childhood days of a young boy which haunted him, resulting in him dropping to fourth. Partition of India in 1947 caused chaos which resulted in mass religious violence in Punjab in British India, killing the parents of Milkha Singh (Farhan Akhtar). He reaches Delhi and later meets his sister there. Living in impoverished refugee camps, Milkha soon makes friends and survives by stealing along with his friends. He falls in love with Biro (Sonam Kapoor), but she asks him to live a life of honesty.
