La Fleur de l'âge est un film inachevé de Marcel Carné. Il reprend le scénario écrit par Jacques Prévert, pour un précédent projet, film que Carné aurait dû alors tourner sous le titre l'Île des enfants perdus (1937). Le scénario s'inspirait de l'histoire d'une révolte d'adolescents détenus au bagne d'enfants de Belle-Île-en-Mer (1934), lors de laquelle les autorités organisèrent, pour récupérer les fugitifs, une chasse avec prime à laquelle participèrent habitants et touristes.

In Gothenburg a gang of five black teenage boys act out an elaborate scheme for taking the belongings of one Asian and two white teenage boys, in which the blacks play good cop/bad cop (this is previewed a the very start of the film with an earlier theft from two different boys). First they ask the time. When one of the victims checks the time on his mobile phone they claim it looks like the one that was stolen from a brother of one of them. The three boys have to come along to verify this with the brother. At one point the eight have to flee from a gang of adults, and one black and one white boy together get separated from the other six. By phone they find out the location of the others and reunite. Then after some moving around, one boy of the gang wants to quit; the gang leader responds by beating him up and kicking him. The four remaining gang members proceed with the three boys.

Sean Randall (Connor Jessup), a goth teenager, is a friend of classmate Deanna (Alexia Fast), with whom he rides the bus every day. Her boyfriend plays in an ice hockey team and she is friends with the team's other members. Sean's father has a gun collection, and Sean sometimes joins him when he goes hunting. Sean films his father shooting a deer and show the footage to his schoolmates, which (when combined with his goth fashion sense) makes them think that he is creepy. The members of the hockey team bully Sean for being weird and for being friends with Deanna, which angers Sean.

Roberto (Hernán Mendoza) is depressed after his wife Lucía dies in a road accident and decides to leave Puerto Vallarta and live in Mexico City with his 17-year-old daughter, Alejandra (Tessa Ía González Norvind). Settling into her new school, Alejandra goes to a party one night with her classmates. At the party, she has sex with José, who films the encounter on his phone. Ana est juge pour enfants, elle n'a jamais connu son père, Louis Delpierre. Lorsqu'elle apprend sa mort, elle se rend pour la première fois dans sa maison à Belle-Île-en-Mer. The movie begins with a now grown-up Alden (James Marshall) telling the story of his childhood in an orphanage, and how his parents set him on the steps of the Pelton Orphan home. He says that 'soccer was the only thing that made his life easier'. When he was too old to stay in the orphanage, he went out and married his wife Elena (Olivia d'Abo). Alden misses his days of soccer, so he reasons that the only way to enjoy it was to have a son to play it with. Alden and Elena go to the Pelton Orphanage, where Alden has to face the mean headmaster. He and Elena adopt Clay (Jeremy Foley). They bring Clay home and Clay isn't really into the spirit of things. Meanwhile, the setting shows little boy playing with his dog, Kimble (who actually turns out to be Lincoln) in the park, then throws the ball over the fence of a construction site. The evil dogcatcher, Damon Fleming (Billy Drago) catches 'Kimble' and takes him to the pound. The next day, Alden learns that Clay doesn't know how to play soccer. Clay goes to practice is confused by his coach, Coach Shaw, who doesn't really know anything about soccer. He tells the team he wants 100% from each of them from each quarter, and Sonny, whose father is a rich fat guy with two bodyguard, points out that in soccer there are no quarters, just two halves. Coach Shaw get irritated and tells Sonny that there is no A in team, then spells it T-E...go take a lap. (Coach Shaw has a nasty habit of telling his players to go take a lap when he says something wrong and he knows they are right.) Behind the scenes, when the dogcatcher goes to take a head count of the dogs, he finds Kimble isn't there and finds he has escaped through a sewage hole in the floor under his mat. Kimble is seen running away and removing the orange tag on his right leg. After that, the coach is explaining that soccer is a game of 'hand eye coordination'. Clay raises his hand to ask a question, but is deterred by Vince, (Kyle Gibson) who tells him not to bother and that 'daddy has a feeling baby was dropped on his head when he was a baby'. Meanwhile, the dogcatcher sets out to find Kimble and, while eating a blade of grass, finds the orange tag Kimble tore off. On the other hand, Clay is walking back home from practice when Vince catches up with him. they talk a little, but Clay doesn't really understand Vince because he calls people 'baby' and calls himself 'daddy'. That's when Clay spots Kimble digging in a flower bed and calls to him, and Kimble comes. later that night, at dinner, Elena wants Clay to take violin lessons, and she and Alden sort of argue. Clay excuses himself to go feed Kimble, who he has named Lincoln and hid in his bathroom. Alden thinks that Clay is not feeling welcome, so he comes into Clay's bedroom to find he was hiding a dog. In the middle of the soccer season, Sonny's dad thinks that Vince is getting too 'hot' and that if he keeps showing off, Sonny was to give him a food poisoning pill. Sonny drops it in Vince's drink and Vince can't play. Clay's dog, Lincoln, runs out on the field and the Coach appoints him to play. The referee tells this really old lady to check the book of soccer rules, which is a 7 inch tall book. The rules state that Lincoln can play for the team. Lincoln scores a goal minutes afterwards. At the end of the season, the team wins the championship. Lincoln's original owners take their dog back, but Clay gets a puppy at the end that looks exactly like Lincoln, the dogcatcher disappears, and Alden becomes the coach of the Stampede.

1944. Quelque part au bord du Danube. Des enfants, victimes de drames terribles, surgissent d'un peu partout. Ils maraudent pour vivre et mènent une existence à moitié sauvage, craignant autant leurs semblables que les adultes... Tomek est un adolescent de 15 ans vivant dans une famille pauvre d'une petite ville polonaise près de la frontière allemande. Il voudrait bien se payer de beaux vêtements, un téléphone ou un ordinateur, mais il n'a pas d'argent. Il rencontre Marta, dont il tombe amoureux et son besoin d'argent devient encore plus pressant. Un réseau dirigé par un souteneur peu scrupuleux le prend en charge, mais il n'a pas évalué le danger de cette vie.

Travelers near Zambezi are being killed, apparently by leopards. The commissioner (Dennis Hoey) asks Tarzan to look into the matter. Tarzan immediately doubts that leopards are the problem. At the same time, Tarzan, Jane, and Boy take in Kimba, a boy who claims to have become lost in the jungle. Kimba (Tommy Cook) is the brother of Queen Lea, leader of a leopard cult.
