Ashima Bhallla is an Indian actress who has appeared in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Assamese language films. Bhalla made her debut with Pyaar Zindagi Hai film starring Mohnish Bahl and Rajesh Khanna..

She also went on to appear on television, portraying the lead role in the Indian soap Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni on Star Plus. Furthermore, she also participated in the show Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena alongside Irfan Pathan.

Venu (Venu Thottempudi) is a receptionist at a lowly beachside hotel in Vizag. He has a beautiful neighbor Nirmala (Ashima Bhalla). Her father's (Mouli) financial status is in bad shape and Venu helps them monetarily and morally. In the process Nirmala falls in love with Venu and Nirmala's family approves their relationship. Later on a well-off guy, Ramji, starts helping Nirmala and family out with luxurious items and better living conditions. Hathyar is a narrative which probes into the household of Raghunath (Sanjay Dutt), a dreaded gangster. His bereaved son Rohit (Sanjay Dutt) has to face a lot of flak from the outside world, repeatedly reminding him of the stigma attached to his family because of his father's past. Just like his father, circumstances force Rohit to become a gangster and he gets the name Boxer Bhai. Rohit has weaknesses, he cannot stand any woman being called a prostitute, because his mom, Sonu was one, and he has fallen hard for a married woman, Gauri (Shilpa Shetty), who is enduring a marriage with a phsycially abusive spouse. Rohit snatches her out of this abusive relationshisp and remarries her. But Rohit's problems are far from over. There is a change in the political scenario and Rohit does not find support from any godfather. He is ordered to be arrested - dead or alive.

Esha Malhotra (Esha Deol) is a bright, spirited girl who has just left college. She finds a note from a past student of her school that coincides with her own feelings of love. She calls into a radio station and requests a song, repeating the words left on the note. An anonymous man calls in soon after, stating that he is the one who had written the letter and he would like to meet her someday since they seem to have the same feelings about love and other aspects in life. The radio announcer sets up a date and time for their meeting at the radio station. The man arrives but finds only a letter waiting for him. The letter does not state her name or address, only a post box number to which she requests him to write to so that they can be friends. The correspondence begins. The man turns out to be photographer Rahul Sharma (Hrithik Roshan). They do not meet, exchange numbers or tell their names but continue to write each other. Fate brings the two together when Esha hires Rahul to be their photographer for a campaign, of course she didn't know it was him nor he did that it was her.

Ramanaa begins with the abduction of fifteen Tehsildars. After three days in captivity, fourteen of the officers get released. However, one of the men gets murdered. The police finds a tape recording and a file from the man's body. This evidence exposes that the kidnapping and subsequent murder were committed by members of the self-proclaimed "Anti-Corruption Force" (ACF), a citizen militia seeking to eliminate corruption by any means necessary. The militia, acting as a kangaroo court, "sentenced" officials in the area to death - beginning with the captured revenue officers who were apparently engaging in criminal activity.

Raj Kumar or Raj (Chiranjeevi) is a rich audio company owner who owns a modern dance school. Dance is his passion and his life till he meets and marries Shanti (Simran).
