David E. Paetkau (born November 10, 1978) is a Canadian actor, known for his roles as Evan Lewis in Final Destination 2 (2003), the customs officer in LAX (2004), Beck McKaye in Whistler (2006–2008), Ira Glatt in Goon (2011), and Sam Braddock in the CTV television series Flashpoint (2008–2012).

Paetkau has appeared in I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006), Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007), So Weird (as Brent on the episode "Vampire"; May 20, 2000), For Heaven's Sake, and a one episode appearance on Dexter, as Lumen's fiancé, Owen. He appeared uncredited in Final Destination 5, as Evan Lewis, in archived footage. Paetkau has also lent his voice to Canadian commercials for Chevrolet automobiles.

Biography

Paetkau is one of three children. A native of Vancouver he is an avid supporter of his hometown NHL team Vancouver Canucks.

He is married to Evangeline Duy. They have two children: Lauren (December 2010) and Oskar (August 2013).

The planet Krypton faces imminent destruction due to its unstable core; the result of depleting Krypton's natural resources. After Zod kills Jor-El, he and his followers are captured and exiled to the Phantom Zone.
