Eddie Barth (September 29, 1931 – May 28, 2010) was an American actor and voiceover artist. Barth earned the nickname, Mr. Gravel, for his raspy vocals in his voiceover work.
Barth was born Edward Michael Bartholetti in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Career
Barth portrayed Myron Fowler, the owner of Peerless Detectives, a rival detective agency in 38 episodes of the CBS television series, Simon & Simon between 1981 and 1989. Additionally, Barth portrayed a police lieutenant on the short-lived 1973 CBS series, Shaft. He also appeared in regular roles on Night Court, Murder, She Wrote, Civil Wars and Stone.
Barth most well-known voiceover commercial work was for the "Tastes Great...Less Filling" Miller Lite advertising campaign during the 1980s. Barth closed the Miller Lite television commercials by reading the slogan, "Lite Beer from Miller; everything you want from a beer and less". His other voiceover credits included Superman: The Animated Series, Osmosis Jones in 2001 and the 1998 film, Babe: Pig in the City.
Eddie Barth died of heart failure at his home in Los Angeles on May 28, 2010, at the age of 78. He was survived by his wife, Sally; son, Victor; grandson, Tommy; and daughter-in-law, Annie.

Set after the events of the first film, Babe (now voiced by Elizabeth Daily) and his master, farmer Arthur Hoggett (James Cromwell), are given a welcome home parade after Babe's success as a "sheepdog". One day, Babe inadvertently causes an accident to befall Arthur, who ends up in the hospital. Esme is unsuccessful tending the farm on her own. A few days later, two men from the bank tell her she and Arthur have not paid their rent on time, and at the end of the month, Esme and Arthur will soon be evicted from their farm. Among the many letters from their fans, Esme locates one saying that if she enters Babe in a sheepdog herding contest, held at a fair far away, she will win a large amount of money. She decides to enter Babe instead, and they leave the farm together.

Rover lives a life of fun in Las Vegas, gambling and chasing girls with his best friend Eddie. One night, he sees his owner Connie's boyfriend, Rocky, in a transaction with a pair of gangsters, and accidentally disrupts it. Thinking that Rocky is an undercover cop setting them up, the gangsters flee, telling Rocky that he has blown his last chance. The next day, Connie goes on the road for two weeks, leaving Rocky to look after Rover. In revenge for ruining his deal, Rocky puts Rover in a bag, drives him to Hoover Dam, and throws him in the water. The bag is later pulled out of the water by two passing fishermen, who take Rover back to shore and place him in the back of their pickup truck. However, Rover wakes up and jumps out of the truck when the fishermen stop for gas, and begins to wander down the road on his way back to Vegas. Instead, he ends up in the countryside, and eventually runs into a farmer, Cal, and his son, Danny, who convinces his father to take the dog in. Cal agrees on one condition: at the first sign of trouble, he'll be sent to an animal shelter, and if nobody claims him, the animal shelter can put him to sleep.

The mysterious owner of a New York costume store (Astaire) sells Santa suits to three different men. He later shows up in various roles to help the men change their lives. (chauffeur, policeman, jeweler, hot dog vendor, taxi driver, floor walker, and choral director) Bob Willis (Burghoff) is a math teacher who is madly in love with a young fashion model and prominent figure in the disco scene, Polly Primer (Buckman). In 1907, when Amelia Earhart is nine years old growing up on a Kansas farm, she is precocious and builds a play aircraft with her sister "Pidge". Later, as America enters World War I in 1917, Amelia is a college student, working in a doctor's office. She decides to join the war effort and become a nurse. One night on the roof of her building, while on break with a coworker, she sees an aircraft which re-sparks her childhood interest in aviation. In 1921, young Earhart (Susan Clark) has her first training flight, with female flight instructor, Neta Snook (Susan Oliver). That same year she buys her first aircraft, a Kinner "Canary" with the blessing of her father(Charles Aidman) who has become a chronic alcoholic. In 1924, she and her mother (Jane Wyatt) drive from coast to coast, Los Angeles to Boston, in an open roadster, arguing some of the way. In Boston Earhart has an off-and-on relationship with a young man and later goes to work in a children's orphanage. What little money she saves subsidizes her flying.

Giggy Panimba meets Pandora Gold at a group therapy session on Christmas Eve. We learn that Pandora is there on her 4th emergency session, trying to give up her "symptom" as a failure at everything. We also learn Pandora lived in the Bronx with her Jewish eccentric mother and her philandering father. Pandora's mother was very involved in Pandora's life because her husband was always out with other women and barely paid attention to Pandora. Pandora's mother believes in astrology and often comments to Pandora throughout the whole movie "I made you a Pisces and don't you ever forget it". From a young age Pandora wanted to be a famous movie actress often imitating Rita Hayworth. She grew up and became an interpretive modern dancer and a Jackpot Quiz Clue Girl but gave up both professions to go live in England with her latest boyfriend. When she arrived home early to surprise him, she found him in bed with two other women. She now is making her comeback as a performer at a night club and invites everyone in the session to come and see her. It's Giggy's turn and we learn that he lived in Brooklyn with his Italian mother and father. His father was a barber and often got into fights claiming he "had a little score to settle" and his mother had unrealistic religious beliefs about love. From that, Giggy became a womanizer even getting kicked out of the seminary for having sex in a utility closet. As an adult he had various philanderings with women and we learn the reason he is at the session is because after breaking up with a girl, she tried to kill herself.
