Filip Šovagović (born 13 September 1966 in Zagreb, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Croatian actor, film director, playwright and journalist.
At first known simply as the son of renowned Croatian actor Fabijan Šovagović, Filip Šovagović has appeared in many films and TV shows in the last decade and a half, gradually building a reputation of his own. His sister Anja Šovagović-Despot is also an actress.
His films include No Man's Land, Oscar winner, and in 2005 he made his directorial début with the film Pušća Bistra.
Šovagović is author of five plays, one of them, The Brick, won the most important European radio award, Grand Prix of Italia. He writes a column in the Croatian daily newspaper 24 sata.

Deux histoires parallèles qui se déroulent dans une situation de guerre, dans la même ville, mais séparées d'un demi-siècle. La première histoire se déroule en 1993, lors de la guerre en Bosnie-Herzégovine, tandis que l'autre se passe en 1943, en pleine seconde guerre mondiale. Two wounded soldiers, a Bosniak (Čiki, portrayed by Branko Đurić) and a Bosnian Serb (Nino, portrayed by Rene Bitorajac) are caught between their lines in the no man's land, in a struggle for survival. The two soldiers confront each other in a trench, where they wait for dark. They trade insults and even find some common ground. Confounding the situation is another wounded Bosniak soldier (Cera, portrayed by Filip Šovagović) who wakes from unconsciousness. A land mine had been buried beneath him by the Bosnian Serbs; should he make any move, it would be fatal.

Bartul Burt Marinkovich, un millionnaire émigré croate, meurt et laisse inopinément ses millions de dollars non pas à sa belle jeune femme, Nicole, mais à son neveu inconnu et illégitime, Bepo Stambuk, qui vit à Bol sur l'île de Brac. C'est la revanche posthume de Marinkovich sur Nicole pour sa découverte qu'elle entretient une liaison de longue date avec son secrétaire personnel, Douglas Caine. The film has been described as a "lighthearted comedy" and centers on Melita Žganjer (Mirjana Rogina), a 30-something single woman who works as a vendor in a small cake shop in Zagreb. Melita is infatuated with Juan (Filip Šovagović), a character in a popular Spanish telenovela aired on local TV, and at the same time tries to get Janko (Goran Navojec), the cake delivery man, to notice her. Her affection for Janko goes unnoticed and Melita turns to Jura (Ivo Gregurević), a police officer and colleague of her roommate Eva (Sanja Vejnović). However, Melita soon finds Jura's interest in her superficial and, upon hearing that Juan would come to Zagreb to play an UNPROFOR soldier in a locally produced film dealing with the Croatian War of Independence, Melita succeeds in meeting him, but is immediately disappointed as the Spanish actor is nothing like his character in the telenovela. In the end, Melita learns that Janko likes her and ends up with him.
