Jose Pellissery (1950 – December 5, 2004) was an Indian film and theatre actor.
Pellissery was a partner of the theatre company Chalakudy Sarathy Theatres. He performed in about a dozen plays produced by this company under the direction of Thilakan, including Five Star Hospital, Alakal, Indhanam, Fassahu, Mochanam Nale, Adisankaran Janicha Naattil, and Chamayam.
Pellissery also acted in a number of Malayalam TV serials, such as Chitta, Meghanidhi, and Kayamkulam Kochunni.
Pellissery died at a private hospital in Chalakudy on Dec5 2004, following a heart attack. He was 54. He is survived by his wife, son Lijo Jose Pellissery and a daughter. His son directed the movies Nayakan, City of God and Amen.

Biography
As an actor in Malayalam cinema, he played supporting roles in about 100 films. His 15-year film career included roles in such movies as Aadhaaram, Akashadoothu, Nadodi, and Ghazal.Pellissery was a partner of the theatre company Chalakudy Sarathy Theatres. Harikrishnan (Jayasurya) is the adopted younger brother of Karunan (Lal). When Karunan loses his right hand in an accident, Hari at a young age takes responsibility of his family. Karunan's sister, Sreekutti is in love with the son of Paramanandam (Jagathy Sreekumar), who is unscrupulous and demands a huge dowry for the marriage to be made possible. To make this marriage possible Harikrishnan and Karunan take a loan from a financier (Salim Kumar) and invest it in a fireworks business, only to lose it completely.

Thekkedathu Ramankutty (Dileep) is a marriage organizer. The story starts when Soloman(Dileep) and his sister travel to kannadahalli to meet two retired teachers. Subhash Chandra Bose aka Kochu Kurup heard a phone call by a teenage girl named Padmaja 'Pappi' Warrier and soon falls in love with her. But his parents send him to Bangalore to his best friend Kartik aka Aniyankutty (Dileep), who is a rich womanizer. Aniyankutty also falls in love with Pappi, but he does not disclose this to Kochu Kurup. Kochu Kurup's father brings a marriage alliance to him, but he says that he is not interested, not knowing that the alliance was with Pappi herself. Seetha, born in an orthodox Hindu family, falls in love with the lower-caste Unni and later elopes with him to Bombay. Four years later, one day, Unni goes missing at Bombay. Seetha is pregnant and had to return to her native place. Through a newspaper report, Seetha comes to know that Unni has committed suicide after knowing he was infected with HIV. The heart-broken Seetha is isolated by the society and even by her parents who believe that she is also infected. Abu, a kind-hearted Muslim ferryman is her only help. Hated and isolated by the society, Abu and Seetha has to face lot of troubles. One day, filmmaker Lohithadas, a friend of Unni, visits Seetha and informs her that Unni was killed by the Bombay underworld and the AIDS-news was all crafted by the wicked media. Meanwhile, some people try to kick Seetha out of the village and burn her house. The film ends with Seetha, her new-born baby and Abu fleeing to another village.
