Kirk Thornton (born May 13, 1956 in Portland, Oregon) is an American voice actor and director, working mainly with English-language versions of Japanese anime shows. His major roles include Hotohori in Fushigi Yūgi, Jin in Samurai Champloo, Hajime Saito in Rurouni Kenshin, Jet Link in Cyborg 009, Don Patch in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, and numerous Digimon. He is co-directed the ADR for the popular anime series Bleach alongside Wendee Lee, and also serves as the narrator. In video games, he voices Number VII Organization XIII member Saïx in the Kingdom Hearts series and Shadow the Hedgehog in the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
Thornton has also played several guest roles in live-action television series, such as Diagnosis Murder, Highway to Heaven and Beverly Hills, 90210. Thornton is well known for having played many different minor voice roles throughout the Power Rangers franchise (and similar series such as VR Troopers and Masked Rider). He has also had experience with ADR direction. Currently, he is co-directing the ADR for the popular anime series Bleach alongside Wendee Lee. He has also been working as a key grip on television shows such as Little Britain, Duck Patrol and Distant Shores.

According to Anime News Network, Thornton boasts the most credits of any male voice actor who does English language dubbing, and in the field in general, is second only to Wendee Lee in total credits. To date he has been in over two hundred voice-over productions for Japanese animation. He is known for playing tough or grouchy men in English-dubbed anime and video games. His career includes Hotohori in Fushigi Yūgi and Jin in Samurai Champloo. He also played the major character Hajime Saito in Rurouni Kenshin, in addition to numerous cameos and minor characters. He also does Don Patch in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo as well as Gabumon and other voices in Digimon. He is even the English voice of Jet Link in Cyborg 009, the Narrator in Bleach, as well as Kisame Hoshigaki in Naruto and its sequel, Naruto: Shippuden. En pleurant à ses côtés, il découvre qu'il a la capacité de guérir et de sauver son père, qui finit par se réveiller. In the present-day American Midwest, society struggles to function in the aftermath of a zombie pandemic barely under control. A short time after the first film, Mavis (Selena Gomez) and her fiance Johnny (Andy Samberg) are married, with the approval of her father Dracula (Adam Sandler) and the world has become aware of (and unfased by) the existence of monsters. Centuries ago, a sentient evil force known as the Forbidden Arts entered Earth from the underworld, intent on destroying all of its rivals for magical power. It learned of a legend that the Swan Princess will bring in an age of goodness, and that pure evil will not survive in her presence, but she can be defeated by a green-colored magical stone. The Forbidden Arts corrupted the legend, making it appear that the Swan Princess will bring despair and destruction instead. The Snow Queen covered the world in ice. Only Master Vegard stands in her way, whose mirrors reflect not only appearances but also souls.
