Biography

Nishanth was born to Balakrishnan (Thodupuzha) and P. K. Pushpa (Thalassery),Kerala. His initial schooling was at St. Mary's School,Trivandrum. He completed the rest of his school education at the Govt.Model High School,Trivandrum, Mary Giri Vidya Mandir, Punalur and Govt.Ganapat Boys High School,Kozhikode. He did his graduation from Zamorin's Guruvayoorappan College,Kozhikode. He was selected as Kozhikode Gentleman in 1996 and later as Mr Calicut.

Nishanth married Vrinda, his childhood love, in 2003, Kerala.
