Tippu (born L. N. Ekambaresh) is an Indian playback singer who has performed over 4000 songs in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu languages.

Biography

Tippu has sung over 4000 songs in various languages such as Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. He has sung many hit songs in his career. He has been lucky enough to lend his voice for the films starring South Super Stars like Dr.Vishnuvardhan and Rajinikanth. He has sung for many stars in South India, but it is his combination with Kannada Super Star Puneeth Rajkumar, that has striked the chord with the audience. This combination has given many hit songs to the Indusry. The songs Shiva Antha Hoguthidde from Jackie, Yaavanig Gothu from Paramaathma, Hey hey Paaru from Raaj, Hejjegondu Heeje from Prithvi, Ley Ley from Raam have all been instant chart buster hits. His combination with the happening Music Director V. Harikrishna is very popular. They have delivered hit songs like Aakasha Ishte Yaakideyo from Gaalipata, Shiva Antha Hoguthidde from Jackie, Yaavanig Gothu from Paramaathma, Hey hey Paaru from Raaj, Ley Ley from Raam, Junglee Shivalingu from Junglee, Edeyolage Guitarru from Only Vishnuvardhana, Yaare Ninna Mummy Daddy from Maleyali Jotheyali most of them written by top lyricist, film maker Yogaraj Bhat. The film begins in a fantasy sequence taking place in Madhumitha's (Amyra Dastur) imagination as she shares the story with her psychiatrist, Dr. Radhika (Lena): Munaruna (Dhanush) is a Tamil worker in Burma. His friend Saamuda (Jagan) falls in love with Mallika (Aishwarya Devan), but Mallika loves Munaruna instead. Munaruna saves Samudra (Amyra Dastur), the daughter of a Burmese army general, from a Ferris wheel accident and they fall in love. When Mallika learns about this, she is devastated and marries Saamuda. The Burmese general disapproves of the union between Munaruna and Samudra, and revokes the privileges that the Tamil immigrants had until then. Violence breaks out and the Tamil nationals flee Burma. Munaruna and Samudra also join the refugees on on a ship along with Saamuda and Mallika. When Samudra's father comes looking for her, Mallika spitefully reveals where they are hiding. As Samudra and Munaruna try to escape by diving into the ocean, Munaruna is shot and killed. Samudra drowns after promising to be together forever.

Rani (Bidushi Dash Barde), the daughter of former Chennai police officer Arokiya Raj (Prakash Raj), tells her father over the phone that she will back home in 20 minutes. As she leaves the telephone booth, she is approached by someone. The screen then cuts to black and we find out that Rani does not come home. The following morning Arokiya Raj finds a finger hanging at his door. Police reports confirm that it is his daughter Rani's finger. He calls Raghavan (Kamal Hassan), his old friend, for investigation. Raghavan handles the case and they eventually find the body of Rani in a forest in the city outskirts. The doctor's report states that the killer bisected Rani’s body with a surgical knife, proving that the murderer has a strong medical background. Following the trauma of losing their only daughter, Arokiya Raj and his wife move to New York.

He secretly listen to Ahalya's tele-con with Rao where Rao wants to settle both the ransom and sever his ties with her. Ahalya pleads and coaxes him to help her get the ransom which Rao is willing to pay. The child takes a fancy to Avinasi and wants him to be the man in their life, and gets him to agree.Ahalaya wants either Rao’s or Mehta'a money which Avinasi is holding, whereas Avinasi is in love and wants to be that protective person. Rao appoints Mehta to handle the ransom and what follows is a series of mix-ups.
