Vasilis Georgiadis (Greek: Βασίλης Γεωργιάδης; 12 August 1921 – 30 April 2000) was a Greek film director and actor. His films The Red Lanterns (1963) and Blood on the Land (1966) were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
Il réalisa une vingtaine de films avant de passer à la télévision au milieu des années 1970.
Il réalisa aussi pour la télévision, comme un Christ recrucifié encensé par la critique.

Biography
Après des études de sciences politiques et de cinéma, il est embauché par la Finos Film comme assistant-réalisateur puis réalisateur à partir de 1956.Il réalisa une vingtaine de films avant de passer à la télévision au milieu des années 1970.
Il réalisa aussi pour la télévision, comme un Christ recrucifié encensé par la critique.
Il fut président du Centre du cinéma grec.

A young English tourist called Annabel meets a Greek shepherd during her vacation on a Greek Island. On their first encounter in a field,the shepherd approaches Annabel wanting to give her some almonds but scared of his rustic and rough appearance she misunderstands his intentions and runs away.Soon, he is found in prison accused of the supposed rape of Annabel.She regrets overreacting and tries to persuade the authorities to release him. Gradually, they fall in love and after being released from prison he follows her to Athens but she must return back home and it seems that their innocent love doesn't have a future.

Dans le quartier pauvre des réfugiés de la catastrophe d'Asie mineure au Pirée, un jeune camionneur a des difficultés à rembourser l'emprunt contracté pour acheter son camion et a peur de se le faire saisir. Il arrive aussi difficilement à nourrir sa famille. Un truand, installé avec sa bande dans une salle de billard du centre-ville, la Magic City où règne la musique américaine, lui propose de transporter de la marchandise de contrebande et de la drogue. Un moment tenté, il finit par refuser. Le quartier se cotise pour sauver le camion et la famille.

They tried to recurn to his life especially The Little Mouse. The same was also done by Petros. Kostas was not disposed and made much difficult for the damaging his team.
