Eros International PLC is an Indian motion picture production and distribution company, based in Mumbai. The company was founded by Arjan Lulla in 1977. It is a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry. Eros co-produces, acquires and distributes Indian language films in multiple formats worldwide, including theatrical, television syndication and digital platforms.


The group distribution network includes over 50 countries, with films dubbed in over 25 languages and offices in India, UK, USA, Dubai, Australia, Fiji and the Isle of Man. Eros has over 2,300 films in its library, plus an additional 700 films for which the group hold digital rights only.

In 2006, Eros International Plc, the holding company of the Eros Group, became the first Indian media company to list on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange. Subsequently, the company delisted from AIM in November 2013 to list on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:EROS).

In 2010, Eros listed its Indian subsidiary Eros International Media Limited on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) in India.

A couple, Meera (Anushka Sharma) and Arjun (Neil Bhoopalam), are going to a party, where Meera gets an urgent work call from her office. On the way, she is attacked by some street punks who smash her car's window. Meera manages to escape but is shaken by the incident. Arjun suggests a road trip for Meera's upcoming birthday. The couple starts their journey the next day. While stopping at a roadside Dhaba for lunch, a petrified young girl arrives and pleads for help, saying a few men are about to kill her. Meera shakes her off but they see a gang of men round up the same girl and a boy, beat them savagely and drag them to a SUV. Arjun intervenes but Satbir (Darshan Kumar), the gang leader, says the girl is his sister. As the horrified couple watches, the gang drives off. Despite Meera's pleading, Arjun drives after the gang. On a deserted area near the highway, the couple witnesses a brutal honor killing of the young boy and the girl Pinky. Terrified, Arjun and Meera attempt to flee but the gang finds them. As the gang digs graves, Satbir shoots Pinky. A fight ensues and Arjun shoots Chotte, one of the gang members. The gang is enraged and the couple run for their lives.

Sooraj (Sooraj Pancholi) is a gangster from Mumbai who meets Radha (Athiya Shetty), daughter of city's Chief of Police during a party . Sooraj, under instructions from his gangster father, Pasha (Aditya Pancholi), kidnaps Radha because Radha's father brought evidence against Pasha in court, and kidnaps Radha in the guise of a police officer, by telling her that he received instructions from the police to take her away from city as there is a threat that Pasha and his gang will kidnap Radha unless they move for some time. During these days they slowly fall in love. One day the police tracks them and Sooraj and Radha escape but Sooraj is shot in the arm when trying to jump over a broken bridge and they both fall in water . Later they are rescued by a group of monks but it is said that Radha and Sooraj are dead to Radha's father. Sooraj is unconscious . After a couple of days Sooraj is conscious when Radha tells about her love to him. Later he confesses to Radha that he had kidnapped her. Radha has however fallen in love with Sooraj. Radha tells Sooraj to surrender and Sooraj is sent to jail for 2 years . During that time Radha's brother Dheeraj (Sharad Kelkar) asks her to go to Paris .

Kamal Mehra (Anil Kapoor) is a businessman who owns Ayka, a company on the verge of bankruptcy. The film starts with the murder of ex-commissioner by an escaped prisoner Kamal Ekambaram (Riyaz Khan). The story then shifts to Masilamani aka Massu (Suriya) and his friend Jet Li (Premgi Amaren) who are small-time con artists. Massu falls for Manini (Nayantara) and they subsequently fall in love. While trying to escape after a heist gone wrong, Massu and Jet meet with a car accident, post which Massu starts seeing dead people, with whom he can communicate. Jet had died in the accident and is now a ghost, too. Massu forms a group of loitering ghosts to earn money by performing fake exorcisms and extorting money from scared rich people, while promising the ghosts that he would fulfill their last wishes in return. Meanwhile, Manini who thought Massu was working in a finance company gets to know about the fake exorcisms and leaves him in a heist.

Josutty (Dileep) is the son of Joseph and Shoshamma. He belongs to a middle class traditional Christian farmer family in Kattappana, Idukki. As a child he desired is to become a priest. This disqualification becomes a barrier for him to marry her. Josutty's family was in deep debt and had sisters who where of age to marry off, yielding to the advice from his friends and relatives he agrees to marry Rose (Jyothi Krishna), a divorcee nurse settled in New Zealand. Soon after the marriage, he immigrates to New Zealand with his wife. Upon reaching there, Josutty's life turns upside down. Rose's bipolar affections confuses Josutty and later he finds out his wife is pursuing an extramarital life with her former boyfriend. All of a sudden he realizes, he is a "total square" and that everything he believed to be true throughout life was wrong and he vows to make money. His friend Priya and Devassy helps him to run a restaurant and he slowly grows economically. He falls for Priya and works for 9 years in New Zealand. After his father's death he goes back to Kattappana facing repressed realities of emptiness in his life from the passing away of his mother, father and close friend. There he meets a door to door sales woman(Nayantara) and marries her and vows to have more children than his first love and neighbor Jessy with the intend to "live life to the fullest".

In festival it enters Raftaar Singh who is a fun-loving man who is un-educated. He has brought a running lion back. His naughtiness has kept his parents on worries. Raftaar soon gets kicked out of house and his father says that he will not come back until he completes his job. Raftaar gets 2 choices that either he will do job with his father's friend in Goa or marry Navjot's daughter Sweety. Raftaar chooses 1st choice after he thinks that Sweety is a fat girl that will give him huge problem. Sara Rana also enters in same style (riding on horse) who has lost her mother but hopes that she is alive, her father Mr. Rana took a wrong choice and worked as Mafia. Mark, a great mafia who wants to marry Sara is obstacled by her, even by Mark's father. Mark soon kills his own father and hunts for Sara but she escaped to Goa. Raftaar meets his boss Kripal Singh who is his father's friend then he successfully gets a job but gets a problem is that he doesn't know English language. Raftaar makes excuse that he knows English when he was in fear that he could be fired. Raftaar and his friends meets Sara in airport. Raftaar meets and befriends Emily as she knows English language. Sara meets Raftaar's boss and feels safe but thinks that Raftaar is a bad guy. In a time Raftaar accepts his mistake that he once made it and his boss felt proud. Sara soon finds out that Raftaar is a good guy when she sees him helping the women whom the bad guys were flirting with them. The same goons who were in search of Raftar gets beaten by Sara. Emily feels shocked on seeing her that she knows how to fight. Raftaar's friends and Sara gets kidnapped soon by same goons. Raftaar tries to save them, in this process Raftaar was able to beat some goons but unfortunately gets badly beaten, Sara later helps them and beats all goons. She then feels happy and proud of his goodness and starts liking him. Raftaar's boss feels finally happy with his job that has done well and he becomes best businessman. When Mark learns that Sara is in Goa he sends his men to bring her back. His mens breach and try to catch her but she escapes with Raftaar in car but unfortunately gets hitten. Raftaar gets beaten but later beats them all except a woman who is soon beaten by Sara. Raftaar decides to take Sara to his home according to his boss' advice. Sara goes in Punjab with Raftaar and meets his parents. She remembers her childhood by seeing Raftaar and her mother chatting together orally. Sara feels happy after staying with Raftaar in Punjab for few days. Raftaar's father tells about Raftaar's goodness and asks Sara that what is connection between them, she finally reveals that she is in love with Raftaar. Emily also had earlier handed responsibility to Raftaar to find Sara's lost mother. She tells the final location and Raftaar returns to Goa with Sara. Sara gets to old house where she lived and watches the vision as a flashback of her childhood but heartbrokenly thinks that she won't find her mother anymore. Sara decides to go back to Romania and she would never return, Raftaar feels heartbroken seeing her leaving after failing to tell Sara his feeling as he was in love with her. When Sara returns to Romania, she receives a news that her father was shot when he refused to get her married with Mark. She meets his father who is alive admitted in hospital. Raftaar successfully finds Sara's mother and brings her in Romania, she reunites with her husband and her daughter Sara. Sara then finally and happily confessed her love with Raftaar. Raftaar feels happy and decides to marry Sara. He tells his mother about same things and purchases cake,flower bouquet and new clothes and goes to church but feels angry when he sees Sara in initial marriage with Mark. Sara refuses to marry when she sees Raftaar. Mark challenges Raftaar for a fight, Raftaar accepts it and fights him and his men outside the church, Raftaar managed to beat all Mark's men but unfortunately get shot unconscious. Sara feels worried that Raftaar will die but soon he wakes up after remembers the lessons taught by his father's words and fights with Mark. They all are thrown in air in which it results Mark died after saying "You're too good,Sardaar (Chieftain)" and Raftaar is alive byt hanging in a side of bridge, Sara confesses her love with Raftaar again happily and vice versa. Raftaar finally gets pulled back to the bridge and returns to Punjab and celebrates his happiness with his friends, father and Sara. This film ends with a song "Singh and Kaur" in which Raftaar and Sara Rana danced.

After a recollection of his childhood memory in which he meets a police officer while being chased by three men, Rockstar Gautham (Mahesh Babu) kills one of the three men (Kelly Dorji) and informs the police. Inspector John Basha (Sayaji Shinde) takes him into custody. A news reporter Sameera (Kriti Sanon) who recorded the incident airs the video and shows that Gautham had imagined killing Dorji. Gautham's recollection continues and he tells the police officer that his parents were killed in a bus.
