Kokers Films is an Indian film production and distribution company. The company was established in 1985. Their first film was Koodum Thedi, which was a box-office super hit. Till now, the company have produced more than 20 films, all of them in Malayalam. Their latest film is Apoorvaragam, which is running successfully all over Kerala. The company is headed by Siyad Koker.

Michael (Biju Menon), his wife Mary (Mohini) and their son buy a farmland in Maravathoor that was coveted by a rich man (Nedumudi Venu). In order to drive away all prospective buyers the rich man and his nephew Maruthu (Sreenivasan) try everything. When they realise that Michael has bought the farm, they block up a spring water source on the farm to make things hard for Michael and thus force him to sell the farm.

The film starts with Ashoka Varma (Prathapachandran) a police officer, trying to prevent smuggling and drugs exporters. Peter (Mohanlal) is a fun loving person and his younger brother (Rahman) is college going youth. Things go head over heels for Peter as he falls in love with Devi (Radhika), a person who he is related to. But her brother (Soman) plans to get her married to Jayakumar (Sreenath), who is a friend of Peter. Devi gets married to Jayakumar. One day, Jayakumar dies in an accident, but Devi plans to live her life as Jayakumar's widow without knowing Peter's love for her. Rest of the story, is how Peter tells Devi about his love and if they get married or not.

Balamani (Navya Nair) is a young orphaned girl and housemaid, she is an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna. Balamani takes care of Unni Amma (Kaviyoor Ponnamma) who lives in the ancestral house. Unni Amma considers Balamani like her daughter. For Balamani everything is her Lord Krishna and Unni Amma. Unni Amma's grandson Manu (Prithviraj) comes from Bangalore to stay with his grandmother for a few days before he leaves for the US. Balamani is infatuated at the sight of Manu for the first time, because she had dreams about her groom as him and believes it is him. Eventually, they fall in love.
