Ashok (Venkatesh) is an advocate who works as a junior along with his two friends Raghava (Maharshi Raghava) & Bhaskar for advocate Durga Prasad (Vijay Kumar) who always fights for Justice. Durga Prasad and his wife Lakshmi (Sangeetha) treat them as their own children. Venkataratnam (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is a powerful contractor who has the entire system in his hands. Once Venkataratnam cheats Govt by saying that he has constructed a hostel for poor people without doing it, just showing on papers. Durga Prasad takes up the case and gathers all the proofs against him. Venkataratnam threatens Durga Prasad a lot who does not yield to it. Finally, Venkataratnam kills Durga Prasad and his wife Lakshmi in front of the court and destroys all the evidence. Before dying, Durga Prasad takes a word from Ashok, that he should win this case in any circumstances. Ashok gives respect to his words and takes up the case, but he fails to get the case admitted because there is no evidence. In that frustration, Ashok reacts on Venkataratnam publicly in court, which leads to his suspension from the court and he has been arrested.
Krish (Ram) is a happy-go-lucky guy who lives with his brother and sister-in-law. He was in love with a girl named Manju (Sheela). Manju happens to be the daughter of Simhachalam (Mukesh Rishi). Krish's only intention is to become rich by marrying her and doesn't have any feelings whatsoever towards her.He weaves a love story between him and a girl called Meenakshi aka Meenu (Hansika Motwani)to make Manju fall for him. He also meets Meenu and he starts to like her for real and falls in love with her.
Abhiram (Vinay Rai) is the only son of his parents (Jayasudha and Naresh). On a visit to a mall amidst a heavy wind, he spots a pretty girl, Nandini. Whilst staring at her, he inadvertently falls into a manhole. Nandini rescues him from the pit, but in the process loses her heart-shaped watch she had just bought.
Srikrishna (Siddharth) grows up watching films playing in the theatre in which his father works as a movie-projectionist in a village. He yearns to become a famous hero like the films he has watched all his life. Satya (Ileana) is harassed by Vicky (Munna) - son of a politician (Jaya Prakash Reddy)- who wants to marry her. Satya escapes from home and Srikrishna falls in love with her the first time he meets her. As the goons and police chase Satya, Srikrishna protects her and drops her in the house of the politician just as Satya is falling in love with him. He wins Vicky’s confidence. Then, he plays a one sided game with him. At the end, the police that were working with Vicky turn against him and arrest Vicky and his parents. Satya and Srikrishna get married.
Long ago, a great drought befell a village. A dancer (Veda Archana Sastry) from a traditional family came forth to dance in the Shiva temple for many days and nights. Her dedication to Lord Shiva and the village earn her the respect of The God Shiva and His wife, Goddess Parvati. They bless the village with rains ending the drought. The dancer's dying wish is that a girl from her family must dance on pournami (full moon night) every 12 years in front of the temple.
Santosh (Siddarth Narayan) is a playful young NRI (non-resident Indian) from London, who returns to India to attend his cousin Lalita's wedding. There, he meets one of Lalita's friends, Siri (Trisha Krishnan) who comes from the countryside to attend the marriage. Though they initially clash, after a series of misadventures, they fall in love. Santosh, however, is supposed to marry the spoiled daughter of his uncle's friend.
The film was loosely based on the Ramayana. Venkat (Prabhas) and Sailaja (Trisha) are youngsters who first meet on a train during a rain shower. Venkat keeps bumping into Sailaja coincidentally every time it rains. This makes them both feel that it is perhaps the rain that keeps bringing them together, and they start to fall in love. Venkat is mesmerized by Sailaja's beauty, charisma, and childlike behavior. Sailaja, also, is impressed by Venkat. Due to unfortunate circumstances the two are drawn apart. At the same time that the two meet, Sailaja catches the eye of antagonist Bhadranna (Gopichand) who also becomes infatuated with Sailaja. Venkat and Sailaja meet in Warangal again and believe that they are meant for each other because it rains every time they meet. Ranga Rao (Prakash Raj), Sailaja's dad, is a typical black sheep with all kinds of bad habits. In the process, he is ready to marry off his daughter to Bhadranna for money. Ranga Rao plants certain ego problems in the minds of Venkat and Sailaja in order to break them up. This causes Venkat to leave Warangal for Vizag. And Sailaja prepares to become an actress (her father convinces her). Later on, Bhadranna kidnaps Sailaja. The rest of the story is about how Venkat rescues Sailaja from the bastion of Bhadranna and how he clears up the misunderstanding with Sailaja in the process.
Ajay is a Hyderabad-based Kabbadi player who visits Kurnool to take part in a state-level tournament. There, he saves Swapna from Obul Reddy, a dangerous faction leader, who is in love with Swapna and wants to marry her against her wishes. Ajay learns that Swapna is trying to leave to the United States for pursuing higher education after Obul Reddy killed her brothers. When Ajay saves Swapna, he humiliates Reddy by pushing him into a mudpond. Reddy refuses to cleanse the mud until Swapna is found and brought back. Ajay helps Swapna escape and takes her to his house in Old city, hiding her in his room with the help of his sister, Shanti.
The film opens with Madhav (Late Uday Kiran) and Sreenu (Jatin Grewal) playing a football cup final in Kolkata. Madhav and Sreenu are best friends, football players, and neighbours. Subsequently, the team wins the cup.
The movie begins with a voice explaining the submersion of Dwaraka village in the sea because of a huge Tsunami, then jumps to 5000 years ahead and starts with Krishna (Venkatesh), doing pranks in Bombay and earn living with petty thefts. Satyavathi (Anjala Zaveri) is a foreign returned girl and she comes to know that her elder sister Karuna (Soundarya) got married to an archaeologist when she visits the archaeological site of Dwaraka. Satyavathi decides to visit Dwaraka to meet her sister. As Satyavathi comes out of the airport of Bombay to go to Dwaraka, Krishna meets her as the taxi driver of Satyavathi hired thinking that she has valuable diamonds with her. On the way, he realizes that she is not the one who was supposed to have carried diamonds and decides to dump her and come back to Bombay. But the destiny has other plans.This makes Krishna goes to Dwaraka. There he gets chased by some baddies after eating in a hotel.After escaping the baddies, he meets up with a cute little friend called Papa. She has mystical powers, she knows that he had fallen in love with Satyavathi and asks him to tell that to her. One day, Sathya tells Krishna about her sister after she is saved by Krishna, he tells Sathya that he will find the mystery of her sister's missing. Things turn spooky when he enters her sister's house. Suddenly, Papa, the cute little girl whom he had met before appears in front of him, she tells him about the history and mystery of the house.
