Add to a movie list5 Sundarikal (English: Five Beautiful Women) is a 2013 Malayalam romantic anthology film. It contains five short stories on love about five types of women. The stories are directed by Shyju Khalid, Sameer Thahir, Aashiq Abu, Amal Neerad and Anwar Rasheed, and feature an ensemble cast. The film was produced by Amal Neerad Productions. The music directors are Gopi Sundar, Bijibal, Prashant Pillai and Yakzan Gary Pereira. The film reached theatres on June 20. A promo song by popular Kochi-based rock band Black Letters was also released.
The featurette Sethulakshmi is an adaptation of M. Mukundan's short story Photo while Kullande Bharya is based on a Chinese story, The Tall Woman and Her Short Husband by Feng Jicai.

The film starts with a message "The aged aren't always wise, nor do the elderly always understand justice" Job 32:9. The story is narrated by the communist leader (TG Ravi) who witnessed it. The story is set in 1900 in Munnar in British occupied India. Harrison is a British businessman who comes to Munnar to cultivate tea. Harrison finds an able boy amidst his workers and names him 'Iyob'(Job). Harrison holds Iyob close and helps him get married to Annamma (Reenu Mathews). Harrison's wife leaves him, later he sees Kazhali (Lena) and becomes interested in her. When he finds out Kazhali's relation with Thacho, one of his servants. Iyob kills Thacho after Harrison order him to. Afterwards, Harrison takes Kazhali as his mistress and she becomes pregnant. In the time of the First World War, Harrison's business gets affected and he leaves for Britain but dies on the way. Knowing this Iyob throws Kazhali out of the house and takes over all assets of Harrison.

Abdul Razaq (Siddique) and Fareeda (Praveena), a Muslim couple in Kerala, are expecting their first child. Razaq wants the child to be a boy, and wants to name the child Faizal and call him Faizi, but to his disappointment, the child is a girl. Fareeda gives birth continuously to three more girls, which irritates Abdul Razaq, who migrates to Dubai. Finally, Fareeda gives birth to a boy, but because of her continuous deliveries, Fareeda becomes ill and dies. Abdul Razaq takes his five children to Dubai. Faizi is looked after by his sisters whom he affectionately calls "Ithathas & Company" (Sisters and Company).

Kalidasan (Lal) works in the state archaeological department in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) and is a food lover. His only companion is his cook, Babu (Baburaj). Manu Raghav (Asif Ali) is Kalidasan's nephew who comes to stay with him, while looking for a job. Kalidasan has a normal life until he gets a mis-dialled phone call from Maya (Shweta Menon), a dubbing artiste living with her friend Meenakshi (Mythili). Maya rings to order a special Dosa (named "Thattil Kutti Dosa" in the film) from a restaurant, but gets Kalidasan instead. Their conversations do not go well at first, but a long-distance romance develops due to their common interest—cooking and food. Kalidasan is a born gourmet while Maya is indulging in culinary activities in memory of her dead mother. Kalidasan starts to let Maya into the secrets of baking with a multi-layered cake called "Joan's Rainbow".

Annan Thambi is the story of twin brothers, Appu and Achu (both played by Mammootty). Appu is a talkative conman who always finds himself in trouble. Trivandrum Lodge, situated in Kochi and its inmates form the backdrop of the film. Abdu (Jayasurya) is a man who does odd jobs for living including being masseur at a spa and being the driver of a wealthy businessman. He is also obsessed about sex, being sex-starved.
