Brahmachari is a 1992 Tamil comedy film directed by Muktha Srinivasan. The film features Nizhalgal Ravi and Gouthami in lead roles. The film, produced by S. Ravi and R. Govind, had musical score by Deva and was released on 3 September 1992.
Synopsis
Ganesan (Nizhalgal Ravi) is a bachelor and wants to get married as soon as possible. Ganesan and his friend Panchavarnam (Charle) look for the perfect bride. Later, Ganesan falls in love with Malathi (Gouthami) at the first sight. He follows her everywhere, and even proposes his wish to marry her. At first, Malathi refuses but she then accepts his love. Malathi is from a rich family and her father Periya Thiruvadi (Venniradai Moorthy) only wants a rich groom, while Ganesan is poor guy. There comes Ganesan's uncle (Janagaraj) from Dubai and the lovers think that he is rich. Knowing the news, Thiruvadi is urged to prepare their wedding. His uncle turns out to be a simple hairdresser in Dubai. Ganesan, Malathi and his uncle decide to maintain the lie until the end of the wedding. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.Actors

Vijay (Rajnikanth), a merchant navy officer, comes home on leave to meet his sister Selvi (Saritha) and her husband Vishwanthan (Delhi Ganesh) but finds them missing. In his search for them, he bumps into Chitra (Radha) who falls in love with him. With Chitra's help, Vijay is able to find Selvi, but is shocked when he learns that her husband has vanished and she has stopped speaking. Unable to make Selvi speak but determined to resolve her troubles, Vijay with the help of his friend Vidyasagar (Y.G. Mahendran) discovers that Vishwanathan had testified in court against a dangerous criminal and is being held hostage by his associates. Vijay decides to disguise himself as a smuggler and gets into the underworld. Whether he is able to retrieve Vishwanathan and bring normalcy to Selvi's life forms the rest of the story.

Gopalakrishnan (Pandiarajan), a clever cook from Coimbatore, moves to an apartment in Chennai. He becomes quickly popular and appreciated among the apartment's women, however their husbands get jealous of Gopalakrishnan. Meanwhile, he falls in love with Usha (Kushboo). The title of the movie Aayiram Poi (ஆயிரம் பொய்) means A 1000 lie in Tamil. Cho Ramaswamy Famous Novel "yaaro Iver Yaaro". Mohan is intolerable seeing Radha's respect growing, he starts hating her. Then, Radha decides on Mohan's sister Suseela's wedding. Mohan decides to earn a lot of money by hook or by crook to take revenge on Radha. He earns money by modelling and then makes Radha step out of their home. Suseela's marriage is about to stop. Whether Radha succeeded in conducting her marriage or not reveals the crux of the story.
