Prabhu acting in duel role in the film. The story revolves around a professor named Professor Chandramouli (Prabhu Ganesan) experimented on transferring body soul from one body to another. Professor Chandramouli is married to Janaki (Kushboo). He got help from a student Aravind (Prabhu Ganesan) who is a bright student and a star in the school. The story flows when the two souls of professor and Aravind transferred and it makes uncomfortable to both parties and their girls. Meanwhile, a wealthy girl-abuser Baba (Nizhalgal Ravi) took professor's favorite student and sold her to a gang. However, soul changed professor and Aravind came to rescue her, where Baba flee from the police. Baba came to know about the miracle medicine that produced by professor to change souls and when soul changed professor and Aravind came to correct their souls at a cemetery. Professor gets chaged, but Aravind's soul went on to a cat. Baba came quickly and hit professor and Baba changed his soul to Aravind's body. Cat with Aravind's soul put into a nearby well and he flee with the miracle medicine. The new Aravind behave very differently and engaged in many bad activities. Finally, professor get to know about the change that happened. He finally found the miracle medicine which was hidden in the worshipped anthill. At last after series of events, Aravind's soul released from cat and Baba's soul trapped within a chicken. In between these scences, there are some comedy scenes between Josiyar (Goundamani), who is married to two wives and his friend Senthil. , which is a very shortened version of the (Madhu +2) stage play which is written by Crazy Mohan who also wrote this story .

Three amateur thieves plot to kidnap a wealthy person’s (Saurabh Shukla) son from the boy's school. They do a trial run. However on the eve of the kidnap, the guy whose job is to operate a crane in this plan is hospitalized. The services of Avinasi aka Mumbai Xpress (Kamal Haasan), a deaf stunt man performing daredevil bike acts is roped in. Twists and turns take place where the other two gang members are hurt and invariably Mumbai Xpress is left to perform the all tasks by himself. He kidnaps a wrong boy Daddu (Hardhik), the illegitimate son of Ahalya (Manisha Koirala) and police officer Rao (Om Puri), but manages to get a huge ransom from Mehta by default. A brawl takes place between the original kidnap planners-Digambar (Vijay Raaz), Johnson (Dinesh Lamba) and Avinasi in handling Ahalya’s child but Avinasi delivers the child unhurt to his mother. He secretly listen to Ahalya's tele-con with Rao where Rao wants to settle both the ransom and sever his ties with her. Ahalya pleads and coaxes him to help her get the ransom which Rao is willing to pay. The child takes a fancy to Avinasi and wants him to be the man in their life, and gets him to agree.Ahalaya wants either Rao’s or Mehta'a money which Avinasi is holding, whereas Avinasi is in love and wants to be that protective person. Rao appoints Mehta to handle the ransom and what follows is a series of mix-ups.

This movie begins with a scientist Prof. Ramdas (Tinnu Anand) doing vigorous experiments to invent a time machine at his home laboratory. After tremendous effort eventually he becomes successful. His daughter Hema (Mohini) and her fiancé Krishna Kumar (Nandamuri Balakrishna) accidentally get into the time machine and visit the past (time of Krishnadeva Raya's Empire). At another instance, the couple gets ended up in fictional future set up by the time machine wherein, the world is about to get destroyed through radiation effect after the end of Third World War. The story revolves around one more important aspect, the Krishnadeva Raya's Empire - the diamond in a highly secured museum. A high profile thief Raja Verma (Amrish Puri) has a queer hobby of burglary of expensive diamonds from all over the world museums. He makes an attempt to rob the diamond in the present time, which was witnessed by a school kid (Tarun Kumar) on his school excursion to the museum. He is trapped inside the museum and happens to see the robbery happening in front of his eyes and the kid manages to escape from the robbers and gets rescued from the museum by Krishna Kumar.

Jayachandra Maharaja (Vijay Kumar) of the Chandraprabha Dynasty deserts Vasundhara (K. R. Vijaya), a woman who gives birth to his son. Vasundhara, loses the child in a cyclone while crossing a river. She is found the hermitage revives her. Vasundhara, on learning the loss of her son attempts suicide. Concerned, Jamadagni creates a mystical flower on a bush, and tells Vasundhara that the flower will be in fresh and in bloom as long as her son is alive and well. Meanwhile, the child is found by tribals and taken to their village, Kotala Kona. The village chieftain and his wife adopt the child and name him Vijay (Nandamuri Balakrishna).

The film revolves around two friends and classmates, Jyothsna (Radhika) and Sharada (Ashwini) and their relationship with Raja (master Shravan Shankar), the son of Jyotsna. However, Raja at the time of his birth, was adopted and raised by Sharada, who is a doctor now living in the United States, with her father (Satyanarayana) and sister. It is revealed that Jyotsna was a widower who loses her husband (Chandra Mohan) in a fatal accident, and Sharada was able to rescue brutally injured Jyotsna by donating her blood, at the time of the accident.

The film opens with an historical story in which the goddess Parvathi while performing dance with her husband Lord Shiva drops her nose stud named "Mookuththi" on the Earth and because of which a temple was raised named "Mookuththi Amman temple" in Tamil Nadu. The story is about three different women who work at a fashion export company. Janaki (Urvashi) is a typist who lives with her husband and her baby to earn for a living as her husband lost his job in a factory.
