Karasu no Oyayubi (カラスの親指) is a 2012 Japanese film directed by Tadafumi Itō and based on a novel by Shusuke Michio.

Synopsis

Take a par le passé contracté une dette auprès d'usuriers yakuzas menés par un certain Higuchi qu'il a fini par livrer à la police pour leur échapper. Mais depuis, il est obligé de se cacher pour fuir les représailles et vit de petites escroqueries qu'il met en place avec son comparse Tetsu. Un jour, ils font par hasard la rencontre d'une voleuse à la tire prénommée Mahiro qui vient de se retrouver à la rue. Pris de compassion pour la jeune fille, Take l'invite à venir habiter avec lui et Tetsu. Le lendemain, les deux hommes ont la surprise de voir débarquer chez eux, non seulement Mahiro, mais aussi sa sœur Yahiro et le petit ami de cette dernière Kantaro. Alors que Take parvient à convaincre Tetsu de laisser les trois jeunes gens s'installer avec eux, les yakuzas semblent avoir retrouver la piste de Take et recommencent leurs intimidations.

The film follows five simultaneous, loosely linked plot lines, that intertwine and scramble together. Emi Hosho, a third-rate lawyer without much of a future, is tasked with defending Goro Yabe, a man arrested for the murder of his wife. Emi heads to the inn where Yabe stayed and encounters the ghost of fallen samurai Rokubei Sarashina, who claims he was the one holding Yabe in sleep paralysis. Une créature géante se manifeste dans la baie de Tokyo, avant de faire surface et de terroriser la ville. Une équipe de chercheurs se regroupe alors en marge des décisions du Cabinet pour déterminer comment éliminer le monstre, surnommé "Godzilla". La France et l'Allemagne finiront par s'en mêler à leur tours.

Ses capacités de récupération dépassent l'entendement lui permettant de récupérer de blessures mortelles en un rien de temps.
