Synopsis
Kumar is the proud father of Ravi, his only son, his pride and joy. When Ravi grows up, he meets Komal, both fall in love with each other. Ravi mentions this to his dad, who initially approves the alliance, but later relents when he finds out who Komal's dad is. Ravi is dismayed as his dad has never refused him anything. Ravi sets out to discover what the reason(s) are behind his dad's refusal to accept Komal as his daughter-in-law, a decision which will not only endanger his life, but also create a rift between father and son.Actors

Inspector Sunil Rana (Shatrughan Sinha) has been assigned the case of triple-homicide of the Sinha family, namely Mr. Sinha (Ashok Kumar); his son Inspector Rohan (Vinod Mehra), and Rohan's wife (Bindiya Goswami). After an investigation, Sunil concludes that the assailant can only be Dr. Singh (Kader Khan), who escapes from India, and re-locates to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, far from the jurisdiction of Bombay Police. Sunil must overcome borders to apprehend Dr. Singh, and thus bring justice to the Sinha family. Inspector Suryadev Singh (Amrish Puri) is an honest and efficient cop in the city. He has a granddaughter Kajal (Twinkle Khanna), whom he has brought up after her parents were poisoned by his enemies, and whom he values more than his life. But Suryadev’s cousin Vishambar (Suresh Oberoi) is plotting the complete ruin of Suryadev, along with his wife and his brother in law Bhanwari (Shakti Kapoor) because Vishambar’s deceased father gives all his share of property, including a village Sundernagar, to Suryadev as Vishambar has married someone against his wishes. So Vishambar plans to kill Kajal, as then his revenge will be complete, and the property will fall into his hands since there would be no one to inherit it from Suryadev, which his son Nagendra can inherit. For this purpose, Vishambar hires Karan (Ajay Devgan).

Johny (Sanjay Dutt) and Jimmy (Saif Ali Khan) are small time crooks who dream of becoming rich. The duo meet in jail where they constantly end up for their misdeeds. A hotel manager, Ballu (Shakti Kapoor) embezzles his company's 30 crores. Johny and Jimmy come to know about it and plan to blackmail him. They join the hotel as waiters and are waiting for the perfect opportunity. But a terrible mobster trio (Mukesh Rishi, Aashif Sheikh and Shiva) kill Ballu. When Johny and Jimmy find Ballu dead, they take his body and present him as alive. They keep doing it until they find the real culprit. Johnny meets Ballu's niece, Puja (Bipasha Basu) and Jimmy meets her friend (Kim Sharma). They all fall in love, and once they all find the real culprit, corpse and a map to direct the money, they all go up on a chase together to find the money, with the three mobsters after them also handing for the money. They all get there, only to find the mobsters have already arrived there and took all the money. They reach the mobster's hideouts, and take all the money. The three then come to meet Jimmy and Johny, and since they do not give them the money, the three kidnap Puja. Jimmy and Johny go to rescue her, by giving the money to the mobsters. They get there, have a brawl, and eventually, the police enters. The three mobsters get arrested, Johny and Puja get married, as well as Jimmy and Puja's friend, and live a happy and clean life with all her uncle's money.
